Looking for Love?
I have a secret. I am in love. Unfortunately, I have yet to meet him in person, but I'm thinking about making a pass. My Gram says she will do some researach and see if there is something like Dog Harmony, so that dogs can meet their own true love, although she did remind me that men are highly over-rated, and that I had better be darn sure before I do something I'll regret later.
Anyway. I'm going to think about this.
Remember I told you that my Mom is the World's Busiest Dog Walking Company Owner? Bob and I are the Spokes-Dogs for Everything & The Dog, and we help her a lot. My Gram spends more time in our office than there are hours in the day, or so she says. Of course, my Gram complains about almost everything, so I seriously doubt she is at that office 24/7, but at least the kibble is coming in the door, so I guess we are doing o.k.
This is one of our long time clients, and his name is Herbie. Gram said Herbie could easily be a LoveBug, but then she laughed and I think that is one of those Gram jokes that no one knows the meaning of except Gram.
Herbie lives in another town from me, but I know his dog-walker very, very well, so perhaps I'll have to ask her what she thinks about me making a pass.
Maybe I should just send Herbie an e-mail and ask him if he is Looking for Love, because I suppose it is possible that he already has a girlfriend. If he does, I'll just have to wait for Gram to search for a doggy dating place. Or, I could just write to Adam Sandler, or George Clooney, or someone else famous like that and see if one of their BullDogs wants to meet me. Or Pink. I could write to Pink. I think she has a Bulldog named Elvis. Or I could write to Dr. Phil and ask him what he thinks I should do.
Or, I guess I could take my Gram's advice and just forget the whole thing. It does sound like a lot of work, after all. Maybe I'll just think about this whole thing. What do you think I should do?

Dear Daisy:
I am a very handsome PBGV who understands your plight. Girl dogs LOVE me but I am loyal to my true Lily. She is not a purebred but I try not to let her feel bad about that. She tells me stories about her shelter life and it's just hard to believe dogs get treated like that by some people.
Anyway, I think you should check out Herbie. What do you have to lose. Afterall, you're thin, have all your teeth and a great personality... Maybe a blind date??

Hi Daisy,
My name is Fluffy and my Mom is Chris and she is a pet(cat)sitter working for your Mom's company. Even though I am a cat I can give you my opinion. I used to live outside when I was a "stray" as my Mom says, well anyway I had a boyfriend named Foggy he was also a stray, but he was adopted by neighbors of my Mom's, and then they moved away. Anyway, I think Herbie is a very handsome dog, and you should let your Gram write to him how you feel.
Purrs and headbutts,
Fluffy
