Meet Me in St. Louis

Well, my Grammy is back in the land of the living, or so she says.   She she not home, however.  NOOOOOOOOOOOO!    Yesterday she and my Mom took off on one of those flying metal birds and went to St. Louis of all places.  St.Louis, in case you have some concern, is in a State of the United States by the name of Missouri.   I think it's somewhere in the middle part of the country.     It's big claim to fame is a huge arch thing that you can see from many places, a big baseball stadium for some birds named Cardinals, and a beautiful home for those wonderful horses who work for the beer company.

And now St. Louis has my Mom and my Grammy and a lot of Pet Sitters.   It's this years Pet Sitter's International Convention.   A convention is a place where people who all do the same line of working, get together, sit around and eat and drink a lot.    It's like a vacation that the IRS let's you say was working and getting educated.   Actually, my Mom and my Gram go to this every year and they do learn a lot of stuff and bring stuff home that is sometimes useful.  Sometimes not so useful.  My Gram says, "it seemed like a good idea at the time".

Since my Mom and my Gram both had awful head colds prior to leaving our home, they called and told me they pretty much did nothing yesterday except recover from the riding on the plane, which was rather small and uncomfortable.    I do hope they are feeling much better, because today I have asked them to go find the American Kennel Club Musuem of the Dog.     I know they will have a wonderful time if they go to this place as I have been having my mouse do some working and I like what I see.

If you want a preview of where my family will be today, you can ask your mouse-man to take you to The Dog Museum in St. Louis

Meanwhile, I have a lot to do.   First I have to go check on Bob since he has been crying uncontrollably since his Mommy left him and I have to tell him he is a brave pit bull and to suck it up.   Then I have to make my list of "what to bring home to Daisy" .  That list is very important because if Mom and Gram come home empty handed, it will not be pleasant around our home for many days to come.

Love, and Holding Down the Fort,
The Princess

    Hi Princess!

Don't you hate it when your 2 legged's go away? That is the saddest time on earth. Please, put your paw around little Bob; I'm sure this is just devastating for him!

At any rate, my mom has been on Medical Disability because she has a very bad back and claims she went away for 8 days to have cancer removed from her right lung. I say she's probably just making it all up, because that's the longest she has ever been away from me. But, she certainly looked "the part" when she did get home. Either she partied her ass off, or she was REALLY sick. I guess I'll never know. Thank goodness she's back to her old self, again. She's a pretty cool mom!

    Love, Blazer
