The Arch

Hi Fans!
My Gram and my Mom are still in St. Louis at the Pet Sitter Convention, and no doubt having a lot of fun without me and Bob.   That's o.k.    My Dad and I are home, holding down the fort and doing all of the hard work and in spite of the fact that Bob doesn't want to even get out of bed without his Mommy around, we're doing o.k.   I'm getting lots of snacks, special attention and the entire side of the bed to myself, so I'm doing just fine.   Don't worry about me, Mom.   I bet you don't even miss me.

Actually, Mom and Gram phoned home yesterday and so I know all about their trip to the Dog Museum, which sounded like one fine place, if you ask me.  Anytime an entire building is devoted to the Art of the Dog, I'm a fan.   Gram said there is even a resident dog, named Lexi, who is from Hungary and is a Vizala type dog and she greets everyone at the door.    Our friends Rick and Janet have a Vizala type dog too.  His name is Mercury, but I don't think he'll be getting a job in a museum any time in the near future.    He and Bob have too much in common, if you know what I mean.   Does the word "hyper-active" paint the right picture?

In any event, even though the museum only cost $5 to get into, Gram said it cost several hundred to get back out.    I think Lexi may have shown them the gift shop.

From where my Mom and my Gram are sleeping, one can see The Arch.     If you have never been in St. Louis, then let me just tell you that this is a giant metal object that seems to fascinate the normal tourist.   I'm not at all sure what the people who live around it think.    Gram says you can go "up" into it.    I think it sounds dangerous, myself.     I'm hopeful that my Mom and my Gram will stay on the ground and take a horse and carriage ride or something else safer.

If, however, you are looking for some education and want to see what this structure is all about you can ask your mouse-man to take you to What Gram and Mom see from their Window
I think you'll be a lot more secure doing your touring this way.

Love and Licks,
The Princess

Well, Daisy, my mom is running out of steam (whatever that means), but we really want to get caught up on your story! For some silly reason she just put my "Good Dog" bandana on me. The other side says "Bad Dog" and even has an inmate number on it. Well, thank goodness, I'm a good dog today. No telling what she'll think by tomorrow.

I will be writing again soon (with mom's help), but she is very tired now. We really wanted to get through September 2007 in your blog. I guess I have to say goodnight, my love.

    Until tomorrow,
    Blazer
