Squeaky Clean
Yesterday was a very special day around our home. We are all clean and smell wonderful. Isn't that exciting? Everyone in our family looks forward to the day our very own spa treatment truck comes to our house to give us all a day of beauty. Everyone except Bob.
Bob is afraid of loud noises. When he hears a truck come up our driveway he dives into his crate and shuts the door. Can you imagine what he does when he hears the generator start up on our washing machine on wheels? Yipes. Bob is a Big Baby, I tell you. I don't think any amount of bathing is going to change that.
I love seeing Miss Lida Henderson and Miss Sue Windell come to help us bathe. The truck is beautfiul and I only have to walk a short distance from my bed, and then be helped into the warm bath, where I get a loving massage and a pedicure. It is absolutely the best thing on wheels. And we all get scarves to wear!
As far as Bob is concerned the scarf wearing is the ONLY good thing about getting a bath. He doesn't care that he finally smells half way decent and his toe nails are trim and neat. He doesn't care that his ears are clean or his teeth are brushed. All he cares about is the scarf. He wears his scarf until it practically shreds and falls off his stupid baby neck. How in the world did I wind up in the same home with this creature?
While I was soaking in the bubble bath, I told Miss Lida and Miss Sue to try to give him some common sense along with his bath. They agreed that probably wasn't possible. They are great groomers, but not miracle workers. I'll just have to think of something else to do in order to smarten that boy up.
If you are interested in finding more about Miss Lida and her magic truck, you can ask you mouse to help you make a reservation at Dogs on Wheels
Believe me, if you have ever gone through the agony of leaving your home, getting in the car, and hanging out all day long at the dog wash, you will LOVE Miss Lida.
Just tell her that Daisy wants her to find Bob a brain!
Love and Licks,
The Princess
