Frosty Paws

As you all know my Mom owns a wonderful company called Everything & The Dog and we have lots of wonderful people who work with us and lots and lots of wonderful clients who ask us to help them take care of their dogs and cats.

One of our wonderful clients just sent us the most amazing recipe for - get this!   Frosty Paws made in your very own kitchen.

Frosty Paws is ice cream for dogs and is very tasty.     The problem with it, as with so many good things, is that it comes in small packages.   This is o.k. if you are getting a diamond ring in a small box, but when it comes to ice cream, it is possible that one wants more than a mouthful.     The cups are tiny and so it is hard to get all the goodness out of the container without getting your lips in a cramp.

So here is the recipe and it is so simple that even my Gram can make it for us.    If you make it and decide you have too much for just one dog, please don't forget where I live.  You can send me some.

                                                                Home Made Frosty Paws

1 quart of vanilla yogurt (which is very good for digestion, by the way)
1 medium banana (take off the peel)
2 Tablespoons (those are the kind you eat soup with, by the way) peanut butter, natural style
2 Tablespoons of honey  (the yellow stuff made by buzzing insects)

Puree (this means to smash beyond any hope of it being recognized) the banana in a food processor or a blender.  Add the peanut butter and honey and continue to process until smooth.   Add the yogurt and process just long enough to blend all the wonderfulness together.    Use a cupcake pan and fill all the little cups with the mixture.   This should be enough for about 18 cups.
Put in the freezer.    Wait till frozen, and then pop out of the cupcake tin and into your dog's bowl.

Oh my.      Where do you live?  I'll be right over.

Love from The Princess
