More New Friends for Me
It seems that my Blogging about my friend Nutmeg in her Halloween Costume has reminded some of my newer friends that there is nothing like Halloween to bring out the worst in their parents. Why out owners think that we truly like to dress up like fools is beyond me.
Don't get me wrong. I love a good dress. I just like to be serious about it. I like my clothing to come from famous designers. I'm going to write to Chanel and see what they can do about making me a new jacket.
Anyway, I got this letter from my e-mail machine, and so I thought I would share it with you. Remington & Pepper-Jack belong in the home of Caren who is one of our wonderful dog walkers. I'll have to think long and hard about the on-line dating stuff. I'm not to anxious for any more men in my life. Bob is pretty tedious and I constantly have to be taking care of him. Not my idea of fun.
Dear Daisy:
My name is Pepper-Jack and this is my brother Remington. I totally understand what you mean about the whole Halloween Costume thing. It is SO not fair that some dogs get all the good costumes!!!! And your friend Nutmeg sure knows how to carry off a really cool costume! Our parents bought us these collars for Halloween this year - I think they are kinda lame and to make matters worse I had just turned to ask Remington if this collar made my butt look big when Dad snapped this picture. I was about ready to pitch a fit, when Mom told me I don't need a costume to look adorable. Mom always knows just the right thing to say, cause you know us little dogs get defensive very easily.
I'm glad I got a chance to email you before we met in person as big dogs make me very nervous if I don't know them well. But this way I'll get to know you through your Blog and when we do meet we will be like old friends. Kind of like on-line dating....Mom tells me you are VERY cute, but Remington says I don't have a chance - Little brothers are such a PAIN!!!! But you know all about baby brothers don't you???
Looking forward to meeting you and Bob soon.
Pepper-Jack and Remington Smith
