Spring is Springing Up all over our yard and our daffodils are starting to bloom.     This totally confuses Bob, since he has been used to dried leaves and semi-brown lawn.   Poor Bob.   He is over a year old now and you would think that he would have a clue about life, but he remains as dumb as they come.

My Gram says that when they passed out brains, Bob thought they said trains (and he is afraid of loud noises), so he ran and got into his crate till the danger had passed.   Thus, no brain for Bob.  At least not a truly functional one.    Oh well.  We still love him.    And he is kind.  We call it DBK  (dumb, but kind)  This is an important thing for all of us to remember.

There are dogs in the world who don't really have it all together, but they need love and care and a warm house and regular meals.     There is a lot of sadness in the world, but there is a lot of beauty too.   
It's important that we always look for the beautiful things in life and as you can see, in spite of the fact that Bob is a complete dummy, he knows true beauty when he sees it.
