What About Bob?
My Gram has been a little bit upset with me the last few days. Last night she took me with her to help her do some pet sitting and we had time to catch up on our talking. This morning she let me go with her again, and whereas The Princess is always ready for a good pet sit, I much prefer the early evening trips as opposed to the early morning ones. The Princess wasn't particularly thrilled when her Gram woke her up at 6:45 a.m. Nope. Not happy.
So anyway. My Gram thinks I am being a little bit hard on our Bob. You remember Bob, of course. Here he is in all his glory - getting ready to go off on some tangent or another.

But then my Gram told me some stuff that made me do some thinking, and after we were done with our talking, I thought that maybe Bob wasn't so dumb after all.
Gram says that this is Bob's way of looking at life:
Work like you don't need the money
Love like nobody has ever hurt you
Dance like nobody is watching
Sing like nobody is listening
Live as if this was paradise on earth
When you look at it like this, I can certainly relate to Bob, who goes to work every day with my Gram and then lays around in a heap sucking his toes most of the time. Of course, no one would hurt Bob and that's why he loves everyone and thinks everyone loves him. Some PitBulls are not so lucky. Bob has no trouble dancing and he DOES NOT NEED an audience. Here's proof on that one:
And we are lucky that we live in a beautiful home on some beautiful land and every morning and every evening Bob runs like a crazy dog with all of his deer buddies. Can you believe that deers living wild and free can even take the time to actually play with a dog? If you don't believe the The Princess on that one, then please, be my guest. Come up and watch.
Oh and finally. What was that other part? Sing like nobody is listening. Yep! That's our Bob.

As my Gram says, let's not forget that Bob is DBK. Dumb But Kind. So maybe he isn't a super-hero and maybe he is afraid of loud noises and his own shadows. Maybe he isn't a Scientist of Rocketing, and yes, sometimes he goes out to lunch without telling anyone, but let's not forget! That Boy can Dance! And Sing.
Love,
The Princess
Daisy
Oh and by the way, all of these pictures of our Bob have come flying to our computer from our friend Bev Hollis. I didn't think you could possible forget about Miss Bev, but just in case, now I am telling you.
