Dog Talk: The Radio Show

Laying around all day is tending to become a bit on the boring side of life, if you know what I mean.   If one is simply lazy and lays around all day because of it, that is one thing.   But to be not feeling well and basically just not have much energy to do your favorite things, is just downright WRONG.   Unfair to The Princess.    I'm going to tell Dr. Tyrrell that I need vitamins.

Here is something that is going to cheer me up and all of my wonderful friends will also find  this to be EXCITING NEWS!

My Mom, my very own Mom, is going to be on
Dog Talk: The Radio Show on July 19th.

Saturday.  One week from today.    Can you believe it?
Is this not the most exciting news anyone has told you in a long, long time?

I just love my Mom.    She keeps my life so interesting.    First she appears in not one, but in two Major Magazines, and now!   The Radio.    What could be next, if not The Oprah Show?

You recognize this little picture, now don't you?   Of course you do because it is the Radio Show from our own wonderful friend Tracie  Hotchner.      In all fairness to the kitties of the world, Tracie does have a Radio Show about cats, called - obviously Cat Chat: the Radio Show, but because my Mom has me (and then there is Bob), Auntie Tracie asked my Mom to talk with her on The Dog Talk show.

Dog Talk is on every single week and it is alive and happening for one whole hour.  It's on NPR (and remember, I told you that stands for National Public Radio) from Long Island University out of Southampton, New York.  That is radio station WLIU 88.3 FM.    Most everyone reading my Blog may have to listen to my Mom and Auntie Tracie live on the internet.  If you want to do that, just ask your Mouse Person to take you toThe Correct Radio Station to listen to Dog Talk: The Radio Show.  When you arrive at the Radio Station, just click on "live streaming" and you will be all set!

To make it even easier for you, you can have the show come flying straight into your computer simply by asking that very same Mouse Person to take you to: Dog Talk  and then enter your e-mail address and maybe the address of a friend or two that you know would like to listen and Auntie Tracie will send out the podcast of the show right after it is finished.  We get them every single week, just like that and it works just fine for us.

Is this not more fun than  Bob in a Barrell?     We wouldn't want to see monkey's in a barrell at our home, because we have Bob to entertain us.   Ha.

I am feeling more energetic after having worked up some excitement level about my Mom and The Radio.   Gram says that's because I am putting my little pea brain to work.     I am pretty sure my Gram is joking about my brain, as I think it is exactly the size it should be.   Sometimes it is hard to tell when my Grammie makes a joke.

But now, I do feel like I really have something exciting to look forward to and that is, of course, listening to my own Mom and Tracie Hotchner.   I think they will make a very good pair of beautiful ladies to listen to and I hope that perhaps they will mention my name (and maybe even Bob too).    For one hour I will give him permission to be just a little bit famous.     I guess he does need to practice every now and then.

I will try to remind everyone the day before THE BIG SHOW DAY, and until then, I am going to be thinking of a question to ask Tracie if she turns her microphone my way!

Love and Licks,

Your friend Daisy
