Labor Day
This is my problem. Oh, I forgot, it is me, Bob. Did you remember that?
So today is September 1 which is also known as Labor Day. But not every year. Just because it is the first Monday of the Month of September, I think.
So if it is Labor Day, why is it a holiday? And if it is a holiday, why is everyone in my family working?
You know, it is this kind of stuff that makes me crazy. This is why Daisy was perferct for this job. She never let little details like this confuse her.
I need a nap.

According to wikipedia: Labor Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the first Monday in September. The holiday originated in 1882 as the Central Labor Union (of New York City) sought to create "a day off for the working citizens". (Hah, that's a laugh)

"Today, Labor Day is often regarded as a day of rest and parades, and barbecues."
OK, now that we got through the boring stuff, I'd like to join you in your confusion. If this is supposed to honor our working citizens and be a day of rest and parades, then where are the parades? Why are your pawrents working today? Seems silly to me, too, Bob. And, honey, Daisy was one smart cookie, but she would probably be as baffled as your are by this amusing holiday.
I need a nap, too.
