Kiki & Lola
Good Afternoon
It's Tuesday afternoon and it is also almost the time of The Falling Leaves. How wonderful.
I have a Beautiful Life. I was just born lucky, I guess.
My friends Scarlett and Bob were rescued so they had some troubles in their former lives. Scarlett just didn't get along with the other dog in her home and it beat her up all the time and would not let her have any food. Scarlett was rescued off the street after she was found in a dirty ditch with some little puppies who did not make it. So then she got her new home and that didn't work, so she came to our house. Wow. But I love Scarlett and can't think of a better big sister, even thought she is very bossy.
Rusty was rescued via the wonderful people at Dauschund Rescue and Blue Ridge Vet. When my Mom and Sister were at Blue Ridge with our parrot, Honey (who is fine, thanks), they met Rusty. At first my sister said, "no thanks", as she thought Rusty had no personality. My Mom, however, was in love. So home came Rusty along with about 6 different kinds of medicine and a special shampoo for two time a week baths. Now Rusty is happy and healthy and really runs the show around here, even though he is, of course a lot smaller than me. I think that Rusty honestly thinks that he is a Pit Bull. Except for his back problem, which our wonderful Miss Jewel is working on with her Reiki fingers, Rusty is healthy too!
So where do you think all of this is going to?
Obviously (can you believe the big words I am learning since I became a reporter?) there are two pups that need your help. One of our wonderful sitter ladies is named Jeanette Asch and she has been helping to care for these lovely girls for a long, long time. The two legged Daddy of these pups just passed away from cancer and now the pups need a home. Here they are:

This is Kiki, and she is obviously a Black Lab, born on June 1, 1998, so she is 10 years and 3 months old. She has AKC papers and her whole name is Kiki Roda Moroney.

This cute little face is Lola. Lola is a Minature Poodle and she also has papers (the official document kind) not the kind one puts on the floor. (Joke) Her real full name is Lola de la Vegas. ( I have papers too and I'll have to see if I have a fancy name, but I think it just says Bob) Lola will be three years old in October.
Both of these girls have perfect health records and even though they are very needy right now, they really do need to stay together because it would make them very sad to not be Sisters. I can't imagine not having Rusty and Scarlett in my "pack".
So I'm asking Please, can you help these girls find a good Forever Home?
Please.
Thank You.
Please.

Ahhhh Bob, Reporter Extraordinaire!
My, my... each day you do better and better with your stories! Woof!! Unfortunately, my Mom cannot help with Kiki & Lola. They seem like very sweet dogs. I wish we could help out, I really do, but we live all the way in Portland, OR and Mom has been on Medical Disability so our money is limited. I just hope that they will be adopted together and your plea for help is answered. You're such a kind & gentle reporter, Bob. I will keep my paws crossed that a good home will be found for these two wonderful dogs. Love, Blazer Woooof!!!
Hi All
I just want to say I am Sorry to you guys and to all my other friends and tell you it is not my fault that my Mom is a slow-poke. Sometimes I'm surprised when she gets out of bed.
Even though I don't write back to you every time you make a comment, I am still thinking about all the people who love and support me, and we will try to do better in the future.
Love,
Bob
