Bird by Bird

I have so many things to talk about, I don't even know where to start.     My Mom told me a story called, Bird by Bird, so I'm going to share it with you.

One of my Mom's very favortie authors is someone named Anne Lamott and one of the books she wrote is called Bird by Bird.     In that book, Anne tells about her brother who had a report to write about birds over the summer vacation.    As all little brothers (and as so many people) he put it off until the very end.    The day before the report was due, he was sitting at their kitchen table, surrounded by books on birds and their father walked in.
In response to the son's inquiry about how he could possibly finish this project that he had put off all summer, the Dad said "Bird by bird, Buddy.  Just take it bird by bird".

So my Mom said that is what I need to do with my Blogging.   Blog by Blog.

And that is what I am going to do.   I'm going to start at the top of my list and so I might have a lot of Blog entires in the next day or two.      Mom says it is easier to write about each subject one at a time, cause Uncle Rick gets crazy when the Blogs are too long.   I have no idea what that means, but it sounds to me like the explanation might be boring.

On to the next one,

Bob
