Bob The Blogging PitBull
I am so excited this afternoon. First off, Lily is presently taking a nap. Thank Goodness. She has been a terrible terror today and I have been chasing her all over the office most of the day.
Here is what Lily looks like when she is sleeping! Shsssh... Please DO NOT WAKE THE BABY!
Needless to say - this is from our first Bev Hollis Photo Shoot....more to follow
But here is my news!
Our friends at 2Dogs2000Miles have a Blog, just as we do. Their official Bloginator is a 2-legged person named Erich Trapp. He does their Daily News Report (which you can subscribe to) and also does their Blogging Business. I can't figure out why I am just a Blogging Pitbull and I do not have a wonderful title like Erich has.
Could everyone please write in and tell my Mom and my sister, Lydia, what you suggest for a Title for me. For Bob. Can you send something creative?
So you can get your Mouse Person to take you RIGHT NOW to where my My Buddy in Blogging is doing his writing and his picture posting. And you can read Blogging Entries direct from Luke, Hudson and Murphy and see pictures of what is happening to them on the road. It is so exciting to read about the ADVENTURES of The Big Dog and his trusty sidekicks.
I don't have adventures like this! Darn. And I guess my trusty sidekicks would be Scarlett and Rusty and frankly, they are of little use to me with all of my jobs. I have to stick pretty close to Leesburg to have all of my Small Adventures, but sometimes I wish I was big and white and furry like Hudson and Murphy, because maybe I could pull a trick on Mr. Luke and just show up in his pack one day. He probably wouldn't notice, do you think? If he asked I could tell him I am a Great Bull-a-Knees ( ha ... that is a Bob Joke... instead of a Great Pyrenees...get it?)
So on the 2Dogs Blog (which you should subscribe to, by the way) you can read about the Memorial Shirt #3 (and find out how to buy one) and you can read about the CANCER CALENDAR and then you can link to the Official 2Dogs2000Miles Website and educate yourself even more. My gosh, you will be busy!
So make sure you give your Mouse Person a nice dinner - and maybe some popcorn later, and then you can go and Read about Me on someone else's Blog. I think you might learn some secrets about me, and I know you will see some really nice photos.
So remember to Puppy Up! and support Luke Robinson on his walk from Austin to Boston with his two Great
Pyrenees Dogs (that would be Hudson and Murphy). The funds raised from the walk will finance the first ever nationwide epidemiological canine cancer study. Those were big words but were from Mr. Erich, my Buddy For Life (BFF's can be boys too -- you know). Oops, except that would make them a BFL, wouldn't it? See what happens when Bob gets tired?
It's windy outside, so get our your coats and warm socks. Don't let your Mouse Person blow away either, cause then you will be stuck in one spot, whereever you are!
Love and Licks,
Bob.....The Boy Bloginator (ha...what do you think of that for a title?)

Hi Bob -- You are a great blogger (and a great Nanny too)! I also think you should have a cool title. Sorry the title of Bloginator is taken but perhaps you could be called something like: The Bobinator! Or maybe Keyboard Bob. Or Boberiffic? Or something straightforward like Uncle Bob? Maybe you should think of a nom de plume? Maybe you should have CONTEST to give you a special name! You know how two-leggeds like contests. Or maybe ... Dancin' Bob! I saw the picture of you dancing and you are magnificent! Much better than some of those people on Dancing With The Stars! (Honestly, some of them dance like they have 3 legs.) Whatever you come up with, I know it will be wonderful.
Your Buddy,
Erich
Dear BBE (this means: Best Buddy Ever......that is what I have decided to call you! HA!)
My Mom says that Sunday is a good day to catch up on all of the Blogging Business that I am behind on. I reminded her that we would not be behind on our work if she would stay focused and remain upright in her chair for more than a hour at a time. She then reminded me that she had thumbs and could use a can opener so I had better watch my smart mouth. For goodness sake, she is so sensitive.
And so. I have decided that I do not want a permanent title. It makes my Blogging Business much more interesteing when people are surprised every time by my daily choice of signing off. What do you think about that? Don't you think 2-legs like surprises?

Hi, Bob! Great story! As you may remember, I am a great supporter of www.2dogs2000miles.org">www.2dogs2000miles.org and I'm proud of it. Now that I have finally received my wristbands, I make sure I never take mine off. I, also, support www.tripawds.com which is a support site for 3-legged dogs who have mostly lost a limb from osteosarcoma and other forms of cancer. As you may have guessed, JerryGDawg (RIP October 3, 2008) and his pawrent's Jim & Rene are friends of Luke, Hudson & Murphy and I always make sure to support them, as well. Their site provides resources, advice, support, condolences, etc for anyone who writes on their forums and they have helped so many people struggling through cancer and chemo. It's a site that I highly recommend everyone should at least take a look at, whether you have a 3-legged dog, or not.
I'm going to have to let someone else decide what you should be called for your blogging; I've never been good at coming up with cute names. Sorry, good buddy.
Erich certainly did a very nice interview of you and your blog and I, also, belong to his group: 2dogsdaily@yahoogroups.com As a matter of fact, I belong to their Volunteers group and subscribe to their newsletter on www.2dogs2000miles.org">www.2dogs2000miles.org . So, these are my two most important sites that I donate to, but there are others that I also give to when I have the money.
Bev Hollis is an outstanding photographer and that picture of Lily laying belly-up in the grass is just priceless. All of her pictures are worth their weight in gold! If I didn't live 2,700 miles away, I'd hire her to photograph my dog and cat. She really captures each animal's personality in every photo. Lot's of talent there!
Well, I guess I've about talked your ears off, so I'll sign off for today. Keep up the good work, Bob. You are a natural reporter!
Love, Vicki, Blazer & Kitty Kimber
Hi All!
Isn't it just the very best thing that we are all friends and can help each other? Every day we think about how lucky we are to be part of such a wonderful circle.
Mom says we are blessed. I say I am one very lucky dog!
