Sleepy Weather

I'm sure that by now, all our friends know that we live in Leesburg, Virginia.    Leesburg is in the County of Loudoun and we are in the Northern Part of Virginia.    The radio lady just said we are having a Tornado Watch.  This usually amounts to nothing, but it always scares me because what if I was outside when the Tornado came and what if a spinning house landed on my head?

Mom says this would only happen if I was a Wicked Witch and since I have no striped stockings or red sparkly slippers, there is very little chance a flying house will land on me.     Besides, Mom says, there are no Munchkins living in our neighborhood so I absolutely should not worry.

My sister did just comment that the weather was spooky looking today.      I wish my family would not talk to me about things likes this, because then I have to admit that spooky weather scares me too.

So I have decided that I would be better off if I took a hint from Little Lily and I went into our home and took a nap.  I hope she has left me some room on the couch, and I will be sure to tell you if anything flies by that should not be flying.

Looking for Munchkins,
Bob

Good move, Bob, getting your little tush inside so a house doesn't land on your head! That would be so scary! Lily's picture is so cute and she's still so small, I'm sure you have space on the couch. She looks so innocent and sweet sleeping like that and I'll bet she really tears it up when she's awake, eh? Thanks for the weather report, Bob!

    Hi Blazer, my friend!

I am happy to report that no houses landed anywhere near our yard yesterday afternoon.  We are all safe.
My Uncle Rick reminded me that there was probably more danger from Flying Monkeys than from houses anyway.

Have you ever seen a Flying Monkey?  Do you think that is a real problem for me to be concerned about?

My Mom says she will find us a copy of the movie The Wizard of Oz, and that after I watch it, all will come clear in the house and monkey department.    I am starting to worry however, because if monkeys can fly, that means that frogs can probably fly and if frogs AND monkeys can fly, that surely means that pigs can fly.

Do you think that pigs put on lipstick before they take off?    This is so much more to worry about than I first thought.    I'd better go take another nap.

    Love,
    Bob
