Attention! Help! Alert! Help! Final Day!

Help Everyone. All friends of Bob and Daisy (whom Bob is speaking to on a regular basis, by the way).

Tomorrow at midnight is the final deadline for your voting to be cast in the election for the dogs (and one kitty) who we think should appear in the 2009 Cancer Can't Keep a Good Dog Down Calendar.

You know how we love and how we support Luke Robinson and The Boys, Hudson and Murphy in this amazing quest they are on and they have such wonderful ideas on how to make fund raising a FUN-Fund Experience.   The 2009 Calendar is of course the big one on our minds at this time.

Our wonderful Princess Daisy is currently in the lead, but you know how things can - as my Mom says - turn on a dime?    Now this, of course is another one of those things that 2-legs speak of and no one can explain them to me.    If turning on a dime was a fast procedure, how could that be?   A dime is a very small coin of money, isn't that correct?    How could anyone stand on it, much less turn around on it in a quick fashion?  Surely they would fall over and hurt themselves?     As you all know, PitBulls have especially dainty paws.   Well, I do and our dog Hannah who I will tell you about soon  (Hannah is busy up at The Rainbow Bridge) .... she had really tiny little feet and toes.     Even Hannah who was co-ordinated beyond belief couldn't turn on a dime.

I am wandering.  So here is the reminder.   This is what our friend Erich is telling us almost daily and I made it come out in really big letters in case someone is having some eyesight issues.

Remember, voting continues until midnight EST, December 5. Questions can be sent to: calendar@2dogs2000miles.org or sturmie@bellsouth.net.

Thank you for your continued enthusiasm and support!

Erich and His 4 Pack

We don't want someone to miss voting because they weren't seeing things too well.   It is, again from my Mom, like the Large Print Addition of The Reader's Digest.     Don't even ask me about that one....Mom says everyone will know what we mean.

So vote, vote and keep on voting.

Mom and Lydia voted for our girl, of course, but we also voted for some others, like our friend Nutmeg Workman, and of course Malcolm who is the reasoning behind all of this and we voted for the kitty. We think that any kitty who was so brave and tried to fight cancer and is now competing with 79 dogs, deserves to get in the calendar.

If you have any questions, you can of course, "reach out"  (as our good, good friend Rick Morley says all the time)  to us for help.        Mom secretly admitted to me this morning that our goal was to raise $1000 for Luke, the boys, and The Cause.    It was a secret for sure, cause she didn't even tell me, Bob, all about it.   How can I be a Reporter Extraordinary when no one tells me important facts and secrets?  GeeWhiz.

We are very close to our now disclosed GOAL so Please Everyone.    If you love me, your Blogger Boy, than help us to help 2Dogs2000Miles.   Remember when we find the Cause, we find the Cure!

I'm off to my couch now.  It's been a very long day of playing Nanny and Reporter, and helping Scarlett and Rusty and my Mom and my sister and everyone, and chasing deer friends this morning, and rolling in the leaves this afternoon.   And then there were TWO Blogs in ONE day..... I am probably needing to call The Dog Abuse HotLine...... I am overworked and not paid.

Love and Licks and Vote for The Princess, Please.
Tonight, Now
Before Midnight Tomorrow

Hi guys, I also voted for the kitty, as well as several other and, of course, Princess Daisy. Right now I'm tapped out because I donated at least $150 on my own and won't be able to afford much more money. I think this is for such a good cause and I'm glad that so many people are participating.

    Hi Blazer
    Hi Kitty Kimber
    Hi Miss Vicki

I have missed you guys.     Did my Mom tell you our Blogging Machine won't let us put photo graphs in our blogging writing spaces?    We are trying to fix it, so for now, it's just words, which I like cause then people have to imagine the pictures and that can be fun!

Isn't the voting just so exciting?   Do you know what, Kitty Kimber?   We want the kitty, whose name was So-Lei to make it in to the final calendar.   We think it is appropriate to have a kitty to represent ALL of the kitties of the world.   That is a big job, but I bet So-Lei would be very happy to know about that.

You have done a lot.    I know how special you have become to so many people and we are honored you are our friends in our very own Bob's Buddies circle.   I'm in the middle of the circle.   I like it.

Stay warm and dry and cross your paws for Kitty So-Lei.

    Love and Licks,
    Bob
