Faith
Since I can now send some pictures in my Blogging, I thought I could tell you a story about Faith.
Fath was born on Christmas Eve in 2002 and so soon he will be having a Happy Birthday and be 6 years old. That is older (and wiser) than me, I think.
Faith was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which needed to amputated. He, of course, could not walk. Even his mother didn't want him.
Faith's first owner also didn't think that Faith could survive. Therefore, he was thinking of putting him to sleep but Happy Day a wonderful woman named Jude Stringfellow met him and wanted to take care of him forever. She was determined to teach and train this dog to walk himself. She gave him the name of Faith.
In the beginning, she put Faith on a surf board to let him feel the movements of the water. Later she used peanut butter on a spoon as a lure and to reward him for standing up and jumping around. Even the other dogs at home helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, after only 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he can now walk like a human being.
Faith loves to walk around now. No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him. He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared in various newspapers and TV shows. There is even one book entitled "With a Little Faith" being published about him.
So this only proves that you do not need to have a perfect body to have a perfect soul.
Isn't this just the very nicest Christmas Story? I am so happy that our friend, Mary, told us all about this.

There have been many videos and stories out there about Faith and how her "forever" owner trained her to walk on her hind legs. She is truly a miracle dog and, like you say, is becoming an international star. Thank dog Jude Stringfellow came along and gave this dog a chance to "shine". It's one of the happiest stories on the internet right now. Thanks for reminding us of Faith, Bob! You are still and A-one reporter!
