Getting Closer

It took me a long time today to find some dancing ladies that I really like.   I did find one "lady" in particular that I think I could love if she is available, but more on that later.

Mom and I found a most helpful place if you need to put something on your walls.   It is called Bare Walls and it has some pretty unique items, so you should probably go there and shop around.    This is a tapestry (Mom says that is a cloth item that is usually woven and can hang on the wall)

You can easily see the dancing ladies in the middle on the left, just above the swans.     Actually this is another thing that lets you find all the Twelve Items we have been talking about, including the pear tree which my friend Miss Vicki had trouble locating yesterday.

But here is the exciting news I wanted to tell you about today.   Remember I told you all about Dog Art Today and how we get a little e-mail in our box EVERY DAY to tell us about today's art or artist.   Today was ANNE LEUCK FELDHAUS and we really, really, really, love her art because of course, she loves dogs.

And she is having a contest and you can click on her name (above) and enter the contest and try to win her wonderful present to you which is ALL of these things.       I do hope you win, but I want to win too, so this is what is called a quandry.    Mom explained that this is what happens when you want something, but you also want someone else to have it.    I call it a BIG problem.   Poo.

                                                  And then, guess what else?

Miss Anne has two dogs and I have fallen in love, I think, with one of them.   Her name is Alice.    Do you not think that Bob and Alice would be a good combination of names?    So I have written to Miss Anne's Blogging Spot and asked her if Alice would like to have a friend.   So this is a photo graph of Alice, and please write and tell me if you do not think she is beautiful:

Alice has a very large toy, doesn't she?   I know a secret about her however, and that would be she doesn't always take the best of care with her toys.     Mom says that makes Alice and me, Bob, "soulmates", cause I am very bad with my toys.   Just because I like to see what is inside of them and how they might be working, but I just think that is what any curious dog would do.

Remember how that one time I thought I might be in love with Izaboo Ray, but everyone told me that she might be too much of star to bother with me?   That was very hurtful, but I know it was true.    Alice, however, even though she  seems to have quite a famous Mom, doesn't look at all snooty.    Do you think?    So we will see what happens and if Alice will write back to me from the nice little note I sent to her.

Three Days to Go from Leesburg to You,
Bob

(Oh and guess what?    Tomorrow I am going to send you a very silly picture of me that Miss Bev made just for me to share on my Blog....and I think it will make you very happy, so be looking for us tomorrow)     B

Hey, Bob, you really outdid yourself with the shopping today! Been getting some hints from Princess Daisy? You are correct, both sites are very nice and Ms. Feldhaus is very talented.

Now, about Alice. She certainly is a beautiful girl, Bob, and I'd try to latch onto her before someone else does. She doesn't appear to be "snooty" in the least! We just want you to have a girl who will treat you with respect and who will give you all the love your big heart craves.

Just think, in a few months we could be invited to the wedding of a century! Awwwwww, wouldn't that be fun?!

Now, Mom wants you to know that she is desperate to hear where the "Partridge in the Pear Tree" is in that painting. She might even be willing to pay money to get the answer; I should check first before I say this, though.

Well, Mom's hands are tired from shoveling all that snow today, so we're off like reindeer! Whoooosh!

Love, Blazer, Kitty Kimber & Mom

I'm so sorry about your snow problem.   We still have none and frankly it is a little depressing as I was looking forward to showing Lily her first every Christmas Snow.      Please tell your Mom not to over-do it shoveling snow because that will not be at all good for her.   Do you have a child in your neighborhood, preferablly one who still thinks that working for a relatively small amount of money is a fine idea?   I realize that those children are very hard to come by in this day and age, but if you have one, give them a LOT of assorted cookies, a big MUG OF COCOA and the shovel.    TaDah!

I have been thinking about Alice all night, but it doesn't look like she is writing back to me any time soon, so I may have to keep looking.

Today when I do my final entries on the Twelve Days, I will see if I can find the Tree and tell your Mom she certainly does not have to pay for it.   All I want is a nice Christmas picture of you all.

    Love and Special Thoughts,
    You BFF
    Bob

Dear Bob, Alice is still blushing 2 days later...she is very flattered by your attention and interest. She has never met a dog with a blog, much less such a handsome one! As for toy destruction, you may truly be soulmates. Do you know that Alice can actually remove a tag from a pillow, or blanket or anything and keep it intact? the tag of course (it's the pillow or blanket or anything that ends up like swiss cheese). She also loves the snow and kitty cats. And she talks, more than any dog that I have ever met. Not sure if you're into chatter boxes? She is wondering how far you live from Chicago, maybe Santa could pick you up on his way here tomorrow night?

    Hi Alice
I hope you still want to be my "friend", since I was pretty awful toward the end of the year in answering all of my Blogging Comments.   You probably know how difficult it can be to live with a Mom and a Sister who run a business about dog walking and pet sitting.   Or not.    But just let me say that chaotic comes no where close to what it is like in our home/office in November and December.

Now that I am getting settled down, I'm trying to catch up, so if you still want to be friends, I really, really, really wish you would write to me again and please send me another photo that perhaps I can hang in my "locker".      If I figure out how to grow opposable thumbs, I wouldn't have to depend on my Mom to do this Blogging for me.    I can assure you I have a lot of unspent time on MY paws and I could put it to good use, if I could only use the keyboard.

Love and LIcks, and still in love,
    Bob, Boy Wonder Blogging Pitbull
