Martha Stewart & Tracie Hotchner
Oh My. Oh My. Oh My.
We are so excited.
Extremely excited.
We have as you know, written about our wonderful friend, Tracie Hotchner, on many occasions. Originally she was a friend of our Daisy Dog, and she and Daisy became quite attached to one another so it was quite difficult for Tracie when our darling passed away. It was quite difficult for all of us, of course, but Tracie sent Daisy many wonderful gifts, including many gift boxes full of Wagatha's Extraordinary Biscuits for Dog and more importantly, then became the link so that Daisy became friends with Norman of Wagatha's AND a true friend of Luke at 2Dogs2000Miles and Luke's companions, Hudson & Murphy. Our Circle of Friends has grown and I have become the Blogging Boy PitBull of the group. I was very afraid at that time that I would not be able to do the Blogging Job, but with help from Tracie, Luke and Luke's friend Erich, I have expanded my horizons so I think that all is well when it ends. Is that the way you say that?
So. Here is why we are so excited.
Tracie Will Appear On Martha Stewart's TV Show
Is that not just so wonderful you could just pee? This is what Tracie said to us in our e-mail from her:
So now it is up to my Mom to try to figure out how to make our TiVo work, since Sister is on vacation. Oh yipers. Sister says it is really easy and gave Mom some instructions, which Mom carefully wrote down, and when Mom read them back and I listened, it does sound totally easy. Please everyone - cross your paws and hope that Mom can do this. If not, Mom says we will sneak over to our home and take a very early lunch break. Don't tell Sister - it is our little secret.
And, in case you did not know about this before now, Tracie is also the author of two famous books ( well... more than that, I think, but these are the two that I care about..... The Dog Bible and The Cat Bible. You can get both of these from your linking to Amazon.com and if you have a cat or a dog living in your home with you, then you absolutely MUST have these two books because they help you to figure out EVERYTHING about them.
And Tracie has not one but TWO Radio Shows. Dog Talk and Cat Chat. You might remember that my Sister was on the radio (DOG TALK) talking with Tracie last summer. That was SOOOOOOO much fun
So this is what I suggest. Wake up your MousePerson (that lazy little creature) and have him take you to EVERY SINGLE THING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT TRACIE When you get to her web-site, you can click and read about cats, you can click and read about dogs AND just on her home page alone, you can get lost for hours deciding what to read about next. Please be sure to tell Tracie that me, BOB, sent you her address and told you to come to visit her if you could get your Mouse Person to cooperate. I don't think Tracie has any helpful hints about mice, but you can probably ask her a special question and she will try to answer it. HA.
So that is it for me today, Bob your Blogging Buddy. Please send me some comments about watching the TV with Martha and Miss Tracie, cause we think that is important in the event that Tracie wants to take me, Bob, to visit Martha with her. I would like very much to meet Martha, but I think Tracie would need to tell her first about how kind I am. I would not want to scare her.
It is very cold outside today, so be sure to eat a lot of chocolate so it will keep you warm. Don't worry about the calories because you will shiver them right off. HA.
Love and licks,
Bob

Tracie Will Appear On Martha Stewart's TV Show
FRIDAY, JANUARY 16!
The MARTHA show airs most places at 10 AM local time on FOX TV, so please check your local listings. I don't want you to take a day off work, but I promise you it's worth programming into your recording device!
—Tracie Hotchner
P.S. All the good folks who schlepped their kitties into the studio got a fabulous canvas tote from Nordic Naturals along with a month's supply of Omega-3 Pet oil, some Wagatha's biscuits (in case they had a dog too) and a copy of THE CAT BIBLE signed to their feline friend.

Bo, you aren't just a great reporter, now it turns out you are GRRREat (like Tony the Tiger Grrreat) P.R. man (your humans can explain what Public relations is, not entirely easy to grasp but you have a knack for it with your natural enthusiasm). Last things first, that chocolate advice in cold weather is most unusual and appreciated. So you can eat as much chocolate as you like so long as you then go outside and shiver it off?? Unique suggestion. Yes, I did love Daisy girl and miss her - although she's still here in spirit as you know only too well - but I am becoming quite enamored of you, too with your humble yet courageous moxie in attempting the Blogging thing. You're an inspiration to the "Little Engine That Could" in everyone. As for mice, the only thing I know about them is that they are the perfect food for a cat so all good canned foods try to be as much like a mouse inside as possible. A very Bob-like thought. You are contagious, my friend. Anyway, thanks for telling your friends about the Martha TV show - turns out I was all wrong about FOX TV, that's only Vermont where I hang my hat - for example, in Washington it's CBS so you have to go to the guide. Or go to MarthaStewart.com (mouse person will take you) and put in your zip code to find out where to find it.
Oh, Auntie Tracie, you are just so kind to me.
So I am quickly posting your comment with the information about the TV stations. Mom took that Mouse of ours to the web site for Miss Martha and she is on WJLA, Channel 7. TaDa! Mom comes in handy every now and then. Especially at dinner time. HA.
I asked my Mom about The Little Engine and she promised she would find some words out of it and read them to me. She says it is all about a poor little train who was afraid that he couldn't make it up a hill, but by thinking positive, he did it. Was his name Bob? Mom says she thinks it was Thomas, but she isn't sure because Thomas might be a tank, or something that is not a train. Anyway, I know she will look it up, because she is good about keeping her promises to me. I like that in a Mom, don't you?
SO! We are truly looking forward to seeing your kind face on the television, and be sure to tell Martha about me the next time you see her, O.K.? (see how smart I am, I know that her show with you might have taped, so you won't actually be talking to her tomorrow).
Love and Giant Kisses from me
Bob
