What Just Happened?

I KNOW everyone will probably crash to the flooring from shock, but after a month of forced retirement, I am back!  Me.  Bob.  Your friend,if you can remember me and still want me in your life.  I told my Klutz of a Mom that there was a good chance we have lost all of our friends and fans because she chose to fall down the stairs on February First and break her paw.  Or wrist.  Or whatever.  And she actually believed that having surgery would mean we would take a month "off".  Geeze.  How is a PitBull Extraordinary supposed to get ahead?  I told her that my friends would think I was the one laying around eating bon-bons and watching refunds of CSI: New York, NCIS, Law & Order and BurnNotice.  Yippers!    She told me to "get over it".

Frankly if I never, ever see one of those programs again, it will be too soon.  I must admit, however, that they were better than the America's Next Top Model Marathon.  That was painful.

And guess what?  Lily turned 6 MONTHS old yesterday.  Do you know how big she is now?     And this is her "poor pitiful Lily look via my Sister's i-Phone.

In actuality, this growth may be better described in yet again one of our favorite Pet Photo Taking Friends, Miss Bev Hollis.  The photo to the left was taken when Lily was about 8 weeks old....and the one on the right, only a few short months later.    See why I have my work cut out for me?

As always, I want to remind you to go to visit Miss Bev at Bev's Web-Site of Gorgeous Photo Taking and Blog Beautiful    I have decided that I need a camera of my own.  I wonder if Miss Bev has a spare?

So, there is so much to do and to say.  My friend, Mr. Uncle Rick, says that I should not get too wordy, and besides I don't want to wear out poor old Mom on our first Blogging Business Day Back.  But I do want to say that I have missed you and I have a LOT of good stuff coming up, including perhaps, a couple of serious reporting jobs, as my friend Mr. Erich of 2Dogs2000Miles, puts it.

So within days we may talk about peanut butter, puppy mills and fake rescue groups, AND of course an update on my QUEST TO MEET ISABOO RAY.      And then there is the Super Pet Expo coming up, the wonderful new issue of BARK! Magazine (in our mail today) and what is new from Hoops & Yo-Yo.   Oh, and Acupunture (for humans), but I will see about going along and getting some help myself for my headaches after taking care of Lily all day!

So, I hope you will ALL write to me and say that you have missed me, because dear fans... I have been absolutely miserable without my Blogging.  If my Mom falls down ever again, I am going to suggest to my Sister that we just prop her up on the farm Gator and let her ride off into The Sunset!

All my Love,
Bob

In case you forgot what I look like.  HA!
Actually, I see what Mom means about my "no question mark tail problem"  Yipers!  This is not good!

    Hi Bob,

Great to hear from you again. Keep a good eye on your Mom, we don't want anything else to happen to her.

    Love Always,
    Sandee

Believe me, Miss Sandee - my MOM is going nowhere without me!
    Love, Bob

Bob! You're back!! I've missed you. I am so glad you're writing again. Tell your mom to take care of her paw, and no more falling down stairs. Only stunt people are supposed to do that, and there's usually a mattress or something cushy at the bottom.

Oh, and Lily is really getting to be a big girl. I hope her charm and beauty don't go to her head. If they do, you make sure to keep he in line. We don't want her to get all Diva on us!

    Your buddy, Erich

    Hi Erich, my buddy!
I'm so glad you didn't forget me.  It was scary thinking that I might not have any friends left.  Oh, and my Mom says "Hello" and that she swears she will remain upright at the appropriate times!

Is the peanut butter story still relevant?  Probably Not.  I guess no Pulitzer for me this year!

    Bob
