Please help! Our family is being transferred overseas to Sudan and we just found out that our Rottweiler Kernel is too large to go on the flight.  I have tried every airline and he and his kennel are either overweight or oversized.  We cannot ship him cargo because he will have to sit at the Port of Sudan and clear customs.  It is too hot for him and he will die if we try to do that. 

Kernel has been my baby for the last three years.  He is extremely sweet and loving.  We never had any intention of ever giving him up .  My husband and I work for the US Department of State and have been transferred PCS to Khartoum, Sudan.  I am scheduled to leave for Sudan in a week (circa 15 March), and therefore, need to find him a home immediately.  If  we could avoid it, we would never give him up.  He is truly a member of our family.

Kernel loves to snuggle, and is obsessed with toys of any kind.  He is a genuinely happy dog that seems to love all people.  He has been an indoor dog, and is good with other dogs.  He has not been around children or cats.

Kernel has food allergies and requires special food; however, we will provide all food and treats for him for 2 years (we purchased everything thinking he was going to be able to come with us).  Kernel has already had both of his knees replaced with the TPLO surgery, so you will not ever run into issues with his ACL (which is very common with the large breed dogs).

We love Kernel so very much and we need to find him a good home.  He has been around other dogs, but not children.  He is gentle and loving.  We have had no problems with behavior or aggression with him and he has been through training.  Please forward this to anyone you know to help us find him a new home where he can be loved as much as we love him.  If you would like to meet him or if you would like more information about him, pls contact me at 703.297.7185 or kellmckvr@yahoo.com.
