Last Day of Winter

I am sure that a lot of Bloggers will be writing about tomorrow because it is the first day of Spring.  I am writing about today because it is The Last Day of Winter.  Today.  March 19th.   My friend, Uncle Rick, says it isn't difficult to figure out that if today is The Last Day of Winter, than tomorrow is The First Day of Spring.  Duh.  Does he think I am stupid?  I am a Reporter for goodness sake.

Anyway.  We live in Leesburg, Virginia (as some of you know) on 10 acres, and our daffodils are starting to bloom.  This means that true Spring is not far away.  I love flowers.   Mom says that so did Ferdinand The Bull.   I know nothing about him.   Do you?  Is there any resemblance?  Should I worry?   Oh, my.   Do you think there is a bull hiding in our yard?   Yippers.

Bob,

    Baaboo,
You do have your seasons correct, and in order. Your Uncle R sometimes finds transitions a challenge, so when he can point out an easy one like the change of season, the world seems all right after all.

...and this one a darned good one to boot. Time to get out on the path that is still muddy, and watch as green, and a bit of yellow, and strands of blue muscle their way through the brown.
