So it is now about The Obama Dog
If you watched the Jay Leno show last night, then you will know that the President says they are getting their dog in April. Mr. President Barack Obama talked about many important things but he did talk about family life in the White House, and said that the timetable for THE FIRST DOG would be in Early April after he comes home from Europe. This is what Mr. President Obama had to say:
"When we get back, the dog will be in place," Obama said, adding his daughters Sasha and Malia were not the only ones looking forward to its arrival. "They say if you want a friend in Washington, get a dog," he joked.
And by the way....... remember Sadie from Washington State? The Portugese Water Dog we wanted Mr. President Obama to adopt? She has found a home. Not in Washington D.C., but a good home and Sadie is happy. And no wonder she is going to a home in North Carolina, where she'll spend her weekends on a boat, swimming and sailing with her person - she'll think she died and went to heaven. Yvette from A PAW UP RESCUE says that she believes ALL dogs should be spoiled rotten and I think that our Sadie girl will be.
Sadie? Can you send me a postcard when you get to your new home? Please. And can I come to your boat and visit?
Remember I told you all about DogTown, the wonderful TV show direct from Best Friends in Utah? We love DogTown on our TV and you will to, because it is back. This just in from our friends at Best Friends:
Turn on the TV!

Plus, the same morning starts off with two “DogTown” stars on NBC’s The Today Show. Best Friends’ Sherry Woodard and Dr. Patti Iampetro will talk about the real world of DogTown, while special guests will discuss puppy mills and the importance of adoption. Don’t miss!
Get all the details about the “DogTown” premier and The Today Show appearance.
I hope that some of the Victory Dogs will be on the new showings, because as you all know PitBulls are my favorite breed of dog in this whole world. Yippers. Why do you suppose that is? Did you know that some people say I don't look like a PitBull. Just because I am on the small size. But I have the paper to prove it, just in case I am ever stopped on the road and asked to show my credentials.

And besides. THE TOOTH FAIRY SAYS I AM DEFINATELY A PIT. Ha. That's a Joke in case you are wondering
