My Squeaky Ball
As always, the babies get special treatment, and me, Bob, who works so hard in the office gets nothing. Nada. Zero. Zilch
My Mom and my Sister went to the Super Pet Expo and came home with a gift for Lily. First off the little rat got to go and I didn't and I can see a pattern developing here. Lily will go out and bat her little baby eyes and everyone will give her gifts. And then to make things even worse, we are getting a baby black lab in a few weeks. I will be assigned the task of being her NANNY and teaching her how to live in our home, just like I did with LIly. Will I get special gifts and treats in return? I seriously doubt it. Oh, poor Bob.
So now that I am over it, as they say, let me tell you about MY SQUEAKY BALL (not mine - that is the name of the company) and let me just say, that the one time I was allowed to share and play with it (with Lily of course), we had the most fun in a million years. This is the best ball ever.
As you can see, a larger mouth - like mine, can hold several balls at one time. Wow. And they are all hand knitted with squeakers inside them, so they are soft, soft, soft and they make a very nice noise.
See the amazing colors and sizes? I want the brown and white stripe one cause it looks like it will match my fur. But then the Black and White one is nice too. But then Yellow will be good as it can't get lost in the woods. Oh My, I need to have ALL of them obviously. And of course, Scarlett wants the pink one and Rusty likes the Blue and White. Did I tell you they can be washed?
Oh and get this..... You can pick your own color combo....and since WE PITY THE KITTIES....there are special ones for cats.
AND YOU CAN GET A LITTLE REPAIR KIT WITH A NEW SQUEAKER, in case you need it, which I doubt. Anyone who really cares about their toys will take good care of this one. AND THEY ARE VERY STURDY

AND here is more good news. The Squeaky Ball Lady will be coming to our Special Event with
Miss Tracie Hotchner on April 24 and Phoebe (that is her name, which I love cause it just sounds so nice) will be donating a portion of her proceeds to our good cause of Leesburg Dogs and our new Dog Park at Olde Izaak Walton Park
Please do not forget about that event if you are living in Northern Virginia, because Miss Tracie is amazing and wonderful and we love her and can't believe how lucky we are to have her here.
Actually, the wonderful people at NORDIC NATURALS and specifically Miss Meredith Greiner are sponsoring Miss Tracie and we are so grateful to them.

My Dearest Bob,
I am not understanding how your 2-leggeds could bring a treat or gift home for Lily, but not bring you something, too. I always learned that when you have multiple dogs in a family that if you buy for one, then you have to buy for all, otherwise, get ready for hurt feelings and, worse yet, fighting over a single toy! Since you didn't get to go, then you should also have received some kind of toy, also. Just my opinion.

I win in the end, as always. The lovely lady from My Squeaky Ball said she is making me my own, very, very special ball. See, whining and acting crushed always wins over the begging and pleading. Sheer Cunning wins out once again.
