Welcome to WillowBee

Guess What?   We are having a Puppy!   Well, we are getting a new Puppy, I guess I should say.  No one living in our home is going to have one, that's for sure.  None of us have the proper equipment.  HA.

So this puppy is the daughter of our neighbor dog whose name is Willy.   And our neighbor dog also who has the name of Abby.  So Willy and Abby got it together and four weeks ago out popped nine puppies.    Sadly four of them didn't make it because no one really expected Abby to have nine puppies since it was her first time to do this job.    But the five puppies who are now living and well and growing every day are very, very cute and Abby, as it turns out is a wonderful Mom.   And Willy is a great Dad.

Because the baby puppy who will be coming to live in our home is a girl and the daughter of Willy and Abby, her name will be WillowBee.  Isn't that just the very cutest name?    And I, Bob, will be a Nanny Dog once again.   I finally got Lily partially raised and now I have to start over.    Yippers.   But I am, of course, excited about the prospect and I know that having WillowBee in our happy family will be a great thing.

Here she is at four weeks of age:

Tiny little picture of our WillowBee's tiny little face.     She was sleeping, so look at her quietly, o.k.?

And here is something else.  My "sis" Lydia and my "bro" Pat, went and helped Abby deliver her puppies.   Isn't that something amazing?   I am glad I was not there for that event however, as I believe I would have fainted.

And I am not the only Nanny Dog around our home, it would appear.   A few weeks ago my friend Amy (who is a GreyHound) came to visit us and so we took this picture of her watching over Lily.

Isn't this very special?   I love looking at Lily when she is sleeping.    She is now 7 months of age and believe me, the napping has not been as frequent as I would like.   I am very glad that Amy was here that day to give me, Poor Bob, a break.

That's it for today.  My Mom is making the two legs in our family a very special Sunday Dinner and all of us dogs are invited to have Peanut Butter Bones in the dining room, but none of the dinner.   Dinner is Enchiladas and Spanish Rice and Really Special Josefina Style Beans and Salad and all kinds of little toppings, etc. etc. etc. and we get PB Bones?    Something is probably not right in this picture, but I haven't quite figured it out yet.

So Happy Sunday Dinner to Everyone,

Love and LIcks,
Bob

Quite a cute bunch of doggies at your house! You're doing a fine job.

Why thank you so much, Miss Bear Chick.   I have attached a photo which will show you my "bro" Rusty, and my two "sisters" Scarlett and Lily.    This was our Thanksgiving Card.  The Greyhound, Amy was only visiting (thank goodness because she can really race me and it tires me out) and of course WillowBee is not official here yet.
