The Busy Week
Boy have we had a very busy week in our home/office. I hardly got to do any Blogging and could barely get a Tweet in edgewise. My Mom says I was just moved to The Back Burner, whatever that is supposed to mean. Sounds like last place if you ask me. I know that my Mom and my Sis have very important work to do in our company Everything & The Dog but I have a FOLLOWING and my friends are expecting me to give them All of the News, All of the Time, and I can't do that very well when no one lets me think into my Mom's head.
Mom says that I need to learn to "bring in some kibble of my own", but I am almost certain that I am doing that already. After all what was in all those boxes for our Special Event a week ago. Was that not kibble and treats and other assorted goodies? Mom says it isn't the same thing. HA.
So, I have some news to report and catching up to do, once again.
Firstly, guess what? Since we are Everything & The Dog, you know that our main jobs are Dog Walking and Pet SItting and one of our very, very special and long time clients is Miss Linda who lives in Leesburg. Miss Linda sent me a wonderful note this week and said that her dog, Jacks, was selected as May Dog of the Month for Northern Virginia Magazine. Wow - you go Jacks!

Here is the beautiful picture that Miss LInda took of Jacks (he is on the right side) and Allie, Jacks Sister, on the left:

Miss Linda rescued Jacks (who is an AmStaff/Dalmation Mix) and then when she thought he might be lonely, she also rescued him a little Sister named Allie. We told Miss Linda that this picture was so good when it came from her camera, that she should blow it up really big and put a nice frame on it and hang it on her wall! I think our friend Ms.Bev Hollis would be most proud of Miss Linda's picture taking.
This is what the Magazine said about Jacks:
Mr. Jacks’ Most Endearing Characteristic: his gumby-like abilities and sweetness
Most Memorable Pet Moment: Mr. Jacks accepted and welcomed a small lab named Allie into his house and shares his Mom with her. Now my two rescues are best friends.
Only a few short months ago, another one of our long time clients, Ms. Amy, submitted a photo graph of her pup, Hally and Hally was also selected for Pet of the Month. That is pretty good, isn't it? Two of our long time friends and clients being selected Pet of the Month for such a fine publication. This is Hally

If you would like to help your four leg (or feathered leg too, I guess) become Pet of the Month, you can ask your MousePerson to take you to visit Northern Virginia Magazine and find out all the details. I wanted my Mom to send in my best picture, but Mom says that is a "conflict of interest" cause Everything and The Dog gives out one of the prizes if your pet is selected. Here are the
The Fabulous Prizes:
Five mid-day walks for up to two dogs or five pet sitting visits for up to two animals, courtesy of Passionately Pets; a $100 gift certificate, redeemable for pet sitting and/or daily dog walking or party hosting/private chef/errand services, courtesy of Everything & The Dog; a free portrait session and small framed print, courtesy of Anderson Photography; three days of boarding and three Prince and Princess packages for one dog—plus a bath, courtesy of Club Pet International; five days of free dog daycare, courtesy of Fur-Get Me Not; a free pet sitting, courtesy of All Friends Pet Care; a dog “spaw” package, courtesy of Bark ‘N Bubbles; a $100 gift certificate from Dogtopia redeemable toward dog daycare, boarding, spa services or any item in their boutique; and a gift certificate for two days of cage-free dog boarding or five free days of kitty condo cat boarding, courtesy of Always There Pet Care, LLC !
Now I ask you this. Couldn't I just select another prize, or donate my prize to charity, or something? Maybe I'll just take matters into my own paws and tell NoVa Magazine that perhaps they might want to write about me on their own, cause I am perhaps The World's Only Blogging PitBull Extra Ordinary! HA.
So next on my list of exciting news from home is of course, The Arrival of WillowBee, our new baby sister. Here she is in a picture wearing MY original coat from George of San Francisco.

You can't really see it too well, but that little yellow spot on the collar of Bee's nice hand me down coat looks like this:
and it is the logo for George of San Francisco . You know, I am not the Shopping Dog that my sister, Princess Daisy used to be, but I do know about quality and anything that comes from George is bound to be around for a long time. I must admit that Bee looks so darn cute in the coat that perhaps we will need to order a bigger size so she can wear it when she is a Big Dog. Mom says that Bee is our "hand me down dog". She is trying to be responsible when the economy isn't so great. And when I think about that, it does make sense. We certainly have plenty of collars, leashes, clothing, toys and crates already and Miss Baby WillowBee doesn't seem bothered about having her things a little worn.
Here is another picture of WillowBee when she is FULLY awake (the State of Danger when cheeks and legs get biten)

Pretty soon, our BFF Bev Hollis will be packing up her picture taking machines and coming to take the THIRD is the Baby Lily Puppy Series, and the FIRST of the WillowBee Pictures. I can't wait because Ms. Bev says she is going to take some new pictures of me, Bob, at the same time. Thank Goodness. I'm sure that most of my friends think I am in a permanent state of suspended animation --- meaning I never grow older ---- as I haven't had a new Photo Opp in a long time.
So let's see, what else happened this week? Oh - Today is the The 2009 Reston Pet Fiesta and this is always a fun and exciting outing. Unfortunately for me, Bob, we could not go today. My Mom did something stupid - even though she can't figure out what it was that she did --- and she managed to pull a muscle in her Butt Area (how embarrasing), so she can only hobble around. She said that hobbling in Reston in the Rain wasn't her idea of fun. I was consulted, but without opposible thumbs OR car keys, I guess I am stuck.
The Pet Fiesta is always fun and in case you couldn't go this year, you should mark down on your calendar for Next Year, because Next Year, I don't care to hear any weak excuses. I am going to attend. HA
My friends Hudson and Murphy, who are walking with their Papi, Luke --- 2Dogs2000Miles are also on Twitter, and I have promised to help them get more "followers" than Luke has. Evidently Luke has been gloating to them that he has more friends then they do, and just generally teasing them about their Tweets. Now do not get me wrong, because I LOVE Mr. Luke, but in this case I have to be on the side of Hudson and Murphy.
So please go to visit them @HudsonandMurphy and tell ALL of your own Twitter Friends about this and let's pick up the pace (no pun intended --- they are walking as fast as they can already) TODAY'S SCORE:
PAPI LUKE 1261 AND H&M 718
Some more tidbits:
If you are not visiting with my friend Anne Good on a daily basis you must really do this. Anne has a wonderful Blog called by the name of AG OUT LOUD and she soon will be the Mommy Person to a 2-leg Baby. This is very exciting because if there is anything more special to me than being a Nanny to my four-leg sisters, it is seeing a little 2-Leg Baby.
Miss Anne is lamentiing (that means whining about) the lack of cute Baby CLothing with anything other than THE SAME OLD DOG ON THEM. Here is what Ms. Anne said a few days ago:
"Now that we are pretty sure we’re having a boy, I’ve been checking out baby clothes and such. Naturally, I look at all the dog stuff out there and I have a major beef with the selection…IT’S ALL THE SAME DARN DOG!! Case and point:
I can just see it now, “OH! Anne LOVES dogs! We should get her dog stuff for her baby.”
Yeah…not so much. Now if I receive items with a chihuahua, or an Italian greyhound, or a Jack Russell terrier then fantastic. But from what I’ve seen it appears there is a monopoly on the dog-themed baby clothes industry and the whackadoo at the top calling the shots thinks there is ONLY one dog breed in existence.
If any of you know this person, please have them contact me at lamedogclothesnotwelcome@agoutloud.com."
I promised Miss Anne that I would help her find some baby clothing (for a boy) with some interesting dogs on them. If you know of a great place to shop that might have wonderful doggies on baby clothing, please tell me or write directly to Miss Anne.
Meanwhile, you need to subscribe to HER BLOG, which is almost as good as MY BLOG.
I think that is about it for Bob's Week at a Glance. Of course, you know that I have a lot more to say about a long list of topics, and hopefully my Mom will not be so greedy with the computer and My Mouse Person next week, so that I can report in DAILY, not just when she feels she can squeeze me in. HA.
I am hoping that April Showers (will soon be gone) and that we will have a lot of May Flowers to look forward to.
Love and Licks,
Bob

Congratulations on the new addition to your family, Ms. WillowBee. Wow, talk about a household growing fast!! Haha! I'm sure Bob is a great Nanny.

Blazer and Mom (Vicki)
Dear Friends in Portland.
I am indeed a wonderful Nanny. Mom says I have been a little grumpy lately, but that is only because it is STILL raining here in Virginia and I can't play outside as much as I want to.
I do, however, have my paws quite full.
Love
Bob

Boy Bloginator!
Do not worry! The rains will go away soon and then you will have lots of time to play and watch over Lily and WillowBee outside where it's fun to be. You're a fine reporter and great Nanny! Love, Blazer & Mom (Vicki)
