Willow goes to Dr. Mike
Well our WillowBee had her first real vet appointment today and met our good friend and great vet, Dr. Mike Strickland at Leesburg Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Mike has been caring for our pets for many, many years, including my "sis" Dahlia (who I never met), and my "sis" Princess Daisy who of course everyone knows about, and now, our Lily. All of these girls --- English Bulldogs --- look a lot DIFFERENT than our WillowBee.
Here is our Dr. Mike hugging a "not a smush face dog"

Needless to say, he was a bit surprised when our Lydia came into his office with little WillowBee, also not a smush face dog, as that is who he is used to seeing in our family. Well, and PitBulls too. Dr. Mike immediately fell in love with our Bee girl. And who would not.
Bee was so relaxed that she fell asleep on the table while waiting for her exam to begin. I can see now that Bee and I have the same feeling about going to see our vet. Why not squeeze in a little nap while you can?
So Bee has a clean bill of health and looks forward to many more happy "well puppy" visits with Dr. Mike and his wonderful group of helpers, including Dr. Krisi Erwin who we love very, very much. Dr. Krisi does canine accupunture and of course my Mom believes in that very much as she goes to the Chinese Stick Needles Into You Doctor every week to try to help her become better.
So if you need some more information on Leesburg Veterinary Hospital and their philosophy and staff, please ask your Mouse Person to fly you away to visit them straight away. I know you will be pleased.
And oh, BTW (remember that stands for By The Way), Dr. Strickland and his staff will be responsible for the second annual Paws for Your Heart event held this year on June 6. This is a really exciting event and we will be telling you more about it as time passes.
And remember about our recent photo shoot with Ms. Bev Hollis? And how I told you about all the great pictures she took of me and of WIllowBee. Well just check this one out:

Am I not the luckiest PitBull on the face of the earth? Do I not have the two most beautiful sisters you have ever seen? And two other ones two...... Lily and Scarlett. I am surrounded by girls and I am very lucky and very happy.
Love and Licks,
Bob
............... and thanks Dr. Mike
