What to do with WillowBee?

Well yesterday was certainly a busy day around our home.

Of course we all wanted to think about our Princess Daisy  and we did that, but then WillowBee was playing in the yard and guess what?   She stepped on something big and sharp.

After that my Mom said the day went to "Hell In a HandBasket."     What does that mean, exactly?  What do you think a HandBasket is?  Is that like those little things in the super market?  And how could anyone go to Hell in one?  And why would you want to anyway?

All I know for sure is that Willow can find trouble any where she looks.  Who knew we would get a girlie-girl like her?   She is into everything and then some.   I was NEVER like that as a puppy.

So yesterday WillowBee had to go see our wonderful Dr. Erwin at Leesburg Vet.  We love Dr. Krisi, doesn't she just look like she is happy all of the time.

Next thing we know, poor WillowBee is going to have surgery on her little sweet paw, cause that cut is so deep.  Oh Boy.  I was really worried about her and finally when she came home, I was able to check her over.   You know what?   Her accident has absolutly made no difference to her at all.  One thing we can definately say about WillowBee is that she aint' no wimp!

And you should see the Bandage that she has.   It is so cute.   And it has a heart shape on it too!  Maybe I want one of these.    But then again, I don't want to go through the torture of getting one.    Sometimes you should be careful what you ask for!  HA!

So our Bee is on semi-restriction according to Dr. Kristi.   Well, you can forget all about that idea, Dr. K.
Willow does not even seem to care that she is supposed to be resting.   I personally think that it will take a lot more than some cut up paw to stop WillowBee in her tracks.     But still, she is a puppy, and once in a while, a girl just has to stop and reassess

She looks pathetic in this photo, doesn't she?     Just give her 15 minutes.
                                                                                                                           Trust me on that one.

Oh and by the way.  I just want to make sure that everyone knows that I was NOT on Nanny Duty when this event happened.   I was, here in our office.   Working away.   Nope.  Not anywhere close.    I don't want anyone to think that I was not doing my jobs right.

So that was our day yesterday.  Mom says it is good thing that most days are not like this and if we have too many more of them around our place, everybody needs to find their own HandBasket and ride off into the Sunset.  Or something like that.    I'm getting the impression that  Mom is not quite ready for much more drama!

Love and Licks,

Bob
......... avoiding the drama whenever possible
..................glad that my Bee dog will be o.k.

So sorry about Willow's injury. Glad she is taking it well and will be fine. Puppies will be puppies!

    Hi Cap!

You can say that again.  And again.    What I can't figure out is why I get stuck with being the Nanny Dog Extra Ordinary for two puppies right in a row, and then they take one away from me for just a few short hours and look-out.   When I'm not on duty she gets into trouble.

Seems as if the 2-legs need to be better baby-sitters around here!

    Love to you, my friend.

aww poor WillowBee...hope her wound heals up nice and fast. You Bob got my sincere sympathy. 2 puppies...*shakes heads* Truly nanny dog extraordinarie!

Thank you for the vote of confidence.   Not only do I have two baby sisters to watch our for, now they have both had surgeries (on NOT the same body parts) and of course this is making them even more crazy.
All Bee wants to do is run through the woods, which she cannot do for at least another week and LIly only wants to lay on our couch, watch The Real Housewives from Somewhere, and complain.

    Love and LIcks,
    Bob
