The Postcard Collection
You did remember that I, Bob, am collecting postcards, didn't you?
If you have forgotten, can you please remember now?
If you never knew about this, then can you send me a postcard just as fast as possible?
I think that in addition to being the World's Only Blogging PitBull Reporter Extra Ordinary, that collecting postcards is something that most dogs just don't do. I don't know why they don't do it, cause let me tell you it is so much fun to walk to the mailbox at the end of our dirt road and jump up and stick one's nose into the warm mailbox and yipeeeee..... a card for me. Bob.
Today I got a whole package full of cards AND some bookmarks AND my very own magnet, all from my friend Alice, who lives with my other friend, Anne. Actually, I am in love with Alice and I really want to meet her, but looking at her beautiful picture is the next best thing, I guess.

This is Alice and that is her ART PICTURE that her Mom, Anne has made of her. That's the little face that is on my Magnet and is in a lot of Anne's Art. The next time you are in Chicago, you really need to go to their studio and meet everyone there. And of course, tell them that BOB sent you.
Does this not look like a wonderful place to visit and spend a lot of time doing it?
Sometimes I wish that my Mom was more artistic. She is very wordy, but not so great with the painting brush. She can cook, sometimes when she really wants to, and she can garden, if she feels like it. And she used to make pretty blanket tops out of scraps of cloth which is called Piecing a Quilt Top. Unfortunately she never got beyond the piecing the top part and so we have a lot of tops with no insides or backs on them.
But I am grateful that Mom can put some words on paper like she does because that is almost art --- in a way.
Alice is happy because her Mom not only paints all the surfaces everywhere with her happy, happy colors and designs, but she can make little Alice dolls too! Wow!
I will have to ask Ms. Anne if she could make a Bob Doll. What color do you suppose I would be if I was a Bob Doll? We'll have to do some serious thinking on that one, won't we?
I think I should be red and purple. I looked around in my picture books to find a photo of me that made me look like I was posing for Ms. Anne and I liked this one in front of our garden shed door because it is a very arty door and makes me look like a serious artist-dog-model.

What do you think Ms. Annie? Would I not make a nice model for your art working?
Let me know and I'll be happy to pose whenever you want.
And BTW, if you want to learn a lot more about Ms. Anne and Alice and Alice's other friends, then you can ask your MousePerson to wake up and take you away to Chicago to see Alice
But, I am forgetting where I started and that is with the Postcard Sending. I have over 35 post cards in my collection right now and they have been coming from ALL OVER THE WORLD. Isn't that amazing? I especially have a lot of friends in The United Kingdom, or the UK as we say in TwitterLand.
So. Can you send me a PostCard as soon as possible? It does not have to be exotic, just because it has come from you will make it wonderful. To send me a card, first just send my Mom an e-mailing to her address at pbest@everythingandthedog.com and she will send you our SNAIL MAIL address. We try to keep as many snails away from the mailing box as possible, but sometimes they do wander down there and on those days, I am very, very careful where I am stepping. I am rather afriad of them, frankly.
Love and Licks,
Bob

Well, gee, Bob... you sure picked the perfect time to tell me about the postcards! I'm on the Cote d'Azur right now, leave for Geneva and Zermatt tomorrow, then back to London and the U.S. on the 9th. Would Madame Best please give me her address tout suit so I can send you many postcards? Poor Moose had to stay home with his daddy, Mikey, and his brother and sister. Maybe one day we'll get him his own airline seat (he'll probably want to go 1st class, not steerage) and bring him with to frolic in the Med. Sea.
Miss you guys!
Gros bisou pour toi!
Phee
Mom says that is what happens when we are all connected in our minds. See? And now I am getting some new postcards and you are having a wonderful time.
Poor Moose.
Be sure to bring him a present.
Love,
Bob

Boy, Bob, not only did I like this article, but I ordered two box of cards from Anne's Website. That's just for starters. I love her artwork and I think you need to have a Bob Doll with the background Bob has selected because of the vibrant and rustic colors. Thanks for the info on this. Love, Blazer, Kitty Kimber & Vicki T
Hi Everyone
I am so glad that you liked my friend Anne and (I hope, Alice). I am hoping that she can make me a BOB DOLL for sure. Wouldn't that be very special?
