Vest A Dog

Here is some exciting news!

On August 16th our wonderful friend
Bev Hollis  is doing a limited edition photo session at Dog Day Afternoon in Leesburg with all of the proceeds going toward the purchase of bullet and stabproof vests for our area canine patrol officers.

I'm sure that we all know that K-9 Police Dogs are important and necessary for helping in crime prevention in our community.   We certainly want to try and give these Canine Officers some protection for their bodies while they are working.

I just cannot imagine how BRAVE my pals must be to do this kind of work.   I know I am sometimes a bit of a fraidy cat and I know I would not be qualified to do it.    BUT.   I am, do not forget, your Boy Bloginator PitBull Reporter Extra Ordinary, so I can surely help in my own special way when it comes to raising funds and making people AWARE.   That's a good thing, isn't it?

So here is the deal!  Miss Bev and her wonderful helpers will be at Dog Day Afternoon which is on Market Street in Leesburg (and where our baby WIllowBee goes to Puppy Kindgergarten) on August 16 and these will be mini-sessions that last about 15-20 minutes each.   And if you know our Miss Bev, she can take a LOT of snaps in that period of time.

My Bro, "Rusty" is going to go and get his picture taken, cause it has been a long time since he has had a nice photo from Miss Bev.     Here is his little face in case you forgot what he looked like:

I think that Rusty was getting in the way at someone's photo session at our home and Bev took pity on him and snapped his picture.    So --- you see how good our Bev is don't you?   Even a casual "snap" produces a pretty great photo.      I especially like the way her logo is sticking out of Rusty's nose.   HA

Would you like to learn a little more about the wonderful vests that we are raising the money to purchase for our Loudoun County Dogs?    Wake up that Mouse, tell him to wear his own vest, and hop over to International Armor Corporation  to check them out!

The  K-9 One™ Vest is the #1 selling K-9 Vest in the U.S., and is the official vest of the original Vest-a-Dogprogram and this is what we learned about the K-9 Vest:

International Armor is the original designer of the K-9 Vest. In the early 1990s we worked closely with K-9 handlers to perfect a design that provided maximum protection and maneuverability. Our efforts resulted in the development of the most successful K-9 Vest on the market today. We have sold thousands of K-9 vests in the U.S., Canada, and Europe. In fact, there is a K-9 One™ vest being worn by at least one K-9 unit in every state.

Isn't that amazing?

I am thinking that Miss Bev may have "waiting list" only room right now, but it is still worth your inquiry, cause each client will receive 10-15 online proofs and ONE 5x7 print and ONE 8x10 print from their session and that is all worth $325, but you will be paying only $75 AND your money is all Tax Deductible cause you will be helping to Vest-a-Dog.

If you want to have some more information and to see if you can book a spot, please contact don@bevhollisphoto.com and he will be happy to help you with this.   I am hoping that a LOT of people will drop by to Dog Day Afternoon on that day and EVEN IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SESSION booked, please, please make a donation to this wonderful cause and so we can keep our K-9 Friends in Loudoun County safer in their new vests.

Love and Sunday Licks,

Bob
