Tomorrow is the Deadline
Don't forget everyone. Tomorrow is the Real True Deadline (unless Erich changes his mind again - HA) for the 2010 Cancer Can't Keep a Good Dog Down Calendar from 2dogs2000 miles.
You KNOW this will be a good thing to do to honor your pup's who are fighting for their lives, or have lost the fight (as our Princess Daisy - Last Year's Cover Girl). It was a year ago on August 18 that we lost our Princess and we will NEVER forget her. Seeing her little face and silly little tongue giving Cancer the Big Raspberry keeps her in our hearts forever.
So here is the information, straight from Mr. Erich at 2Dogs.

Calendar Deadline Extended to August 22nd at 12 midnight EDT -- Because of the huge last minute response we're having to the 2010 Cancer Can't Keep A Good Dog Down calendar contest, we have decided to extend the deadline to next Saturday, August 22 at 12 midnight EDT! Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm and terrific stories and photos. Keep '˜em coming!
Speaking of stories and photos, let me remind you one more time
STORY LENGTH must be 1000 characters or less. Not words but characters. Characters include every stroke of the keyboard, including punctuation, spaces, paragraph breaks (don't make any) and typos/booboos. You can find a great character counter here: http://www.wordcountertool.com/ Now, let me warn you¦ you cant squish up your sentences and break the rules of punctuation (you know who you are!!) just so you can squeeze in one or two more words. I are a Englisch Profeser and I will ketch you!
PHOTO SIZE must be greater than 300kb. If you send anything less than 300kb I'll be writing you back asking you for a larger kb photo. (I know you'd love to hear from me) The greater the kb the better the resolution, which means the better the reproduction of your dog's photo for the calendar. So please, think LARGE photo, SMALL story.
Now, if you'd like to write a long story and include several photos of your dog for the puppy up! blog, please send them to me at erich@2dogs2000miles.org Yes I am shameless and will always promote the puppy up! blog. It's a great place to post your dog's story and photos and a source of inspiration for us all.
So don't forget. Do this now. And be sure to follow Professer Erich's Rules of the English Language.... HA!
