Draw The Dog

We want to thank our wonderful friend Anne Good from A.G. Our Loud for telling us about Draw the Dog .    Hat's off to you Ms. Anne and I'm so excited because I sent Mr. Jim George some photos of me leaping up in the air and telling him about how high I can jump and how I run and leap every morning with my own private herd of deer who live near our property.

I am truly an amazing jumper, as some of you may know.    Just wait till you see my Holiday Card from
Ms. Bev Hollis, my favorite photo grapher   Here is one of me going straight up!

Mom says my record is about six feet off the air from a four leg stand.    But I think I might be able to go even higher.

So anyway, back to Draw the Dog.   You just have to check out this amazing web-site and subscribe so you will know when Mr. Jim has posted some new drawings.   And you can send in a story about something that you do and maybe if you are really lucky Mr. Jim will get an inspiration and draw you!

I sent Mr. Jim a story about my personal herd of deer who live near (and on) our property.   Every morning since I have been just a little pup, I have rushed out my door in the early morning and raced off to see my friends who are waiting in our woods and our grass meadow.    Then we race like the wind and because they must think I am one of them, they have taught me how to leap over fallen logs (and tall buildings) with a single bound.      I am Super Bob.   I am amazing.  I have wings.

The deer have a lot more stamina than I do, I must admit, so I come dragging myself back to Mom after about five minutes of racing.    Let me tell you.  If you want to start your day off right, there is NOTHING like a race with your deer friends to get you going.     Trust me.

And check out Mr. Jim (and of course, Ms. Anne) and have some fun.

Love and LIcks,

Bob

Hiya Bob! Mom has subscribed to "Draw the Dog" and I must say that I am most impressed with your jumping skills! It must be awfully fun to run with the deer since I only get to run with the squirrels. Being a miniature poodle that gives me some good exercise, but it's nothing like you get to do. I guess that's why you are a "a boy reporter Extra Ordinary".

    Love,
    Blazer & Mom (too)

Isn't Draw the Dog just so much fun?   I bet you have a good story you could send to Mr. Jim, Blazer.    Racing squirrels is good too and I do that all the time.   The problem is the squirrels don't see me as a friend, like my deer do, and so they pretty much torment me and make be try to climb a tree, which I have not quite figured out how to do.

Happy Day After Thanksgiving.   I hope you got a bite of turkey!

    Bob
