New Family, New Friend
I am an Uncle! Again. My 2-legged brother, who lives in Colorado and is called Marshall, has just become a Dad for the second time and our new baby is named Ruby Alexis. Here she is and I think she is quite gorgeous, don't you?
So this is my second two-legged niece (I don't think I have any four legged nieces --- or at least none that I know about). Miss Ruby Alexis is now the baby sister of Ryann, or Ry-Ry as we call her, and I'm sure that Ryann will be a wonderful Big Sister. We'll have to make sure she gets one of those shirts --- you know the one that says "I'm the Big Sister". Although, those seem to be pretty obvious statements if you ask me. When comparing a new baby and a five year old (almost five), it seems pretty obvious to me who is the Big SIster. HA.
And so we also have a new Puppy Friend --- actually almost part of our family, cause this is the new puppy of my SIster, Lydia's best friend in the whole world, Alyssa. Alyssa recently had some sadness when her dog, who was named Gunner, was called unexpectedly to The Bridge to help Daisy with her duties up there. We were all very sad to hear about Gunner, but now look. Here is Moonlight Storm! Isn't that just the best name, ever. Well, except for Bob. Me.
Again, a very, very beautiful little girl. She is 9 weeks old and weighs 14 pounds. Of course you can see that she is a Weimaraner and comes from a long line of champions. Like our own WillowBee, Storm was the runt and there were 9 in her litter (6 girls and 3 boys).

Kinda funny that our baby, Ruby weighed in at 7 pounds, and Storm is twice that big but is 9 weeks old. I think that Storm will probably grow a little faster than our Ruby girl, at least for the first year or two.
So we are very happy to welcome our new family member and our new almost a family member, and think this is a very wonderful Happy Holiday present for all of us.

Well, I'd say congratulations are certainly in order for both Ruby Alexis @ Moonlight Storm! A very happy story all the way around.
