Far From Home on New Year's Eve

Nothing is worse than being lost, except perhaps being lost and cold and scared.        I will never, every forget the one time I was lost and it was only for 2 and a half hours and it made me so scared that I couldn't find my way back home.   The more I became panic stricken, the worse it got and I started running in circles and not even recognizing things that I knew were close to my home.    Finally I heard my Mom, calling and calling from such a long, long away, but I forced myself to relax and I stumbled in the right direction and before I knew it, I saw her standing in front of me.       I have never gone that far from home again.   A quick 10 minute run on my usual route is all I need to keep in good shape when I am running with my deer friends in the woods.

One of our wonderful dog walkers/pet sitters,
Ms. Sandee Szabo  has told us some very sad news and because so many people read my blogging (thankfully), I am hoping that I will be able to help locate poor lost Thunder.

Our Miss Sandee sent this to us in an e-mail this morning:

Hi Everyone,

Please pass this along to anything and everyone that you know in the Sterling and/or Herndon area.

This poor dog has been missing since December 14th.  There have been many sightings and all are hopeful that he will be caught but any and all help is appreciated.

There is a special blogging spot you can go to to help in finding Thunder, so we hope you will check that our as soon as you can wake up your Mouse Person and explain to him the urgency in this quest.    Please go to

Here is a a photo graph of Thunder to help you in your looking around.

So please hurry, try to get Thunder back home tonight in time to spend New Years Eve with his beloved family.   Don't let him be cold and scared one more minute.

Love and LIcks
