No Resolutions

I have decided that this year I am making no New Year Resolutions.   They are too hard to keep and only wind up depressing me when I fail.    Last year I vowed to be kind to everyone I knew and in a moment of sheer stupidity, I bit my friend Smurf on the nose.  Not badly, but it wasn't a nice thing to do, and now he has moved away to St. Louis or someplace and what if I never every see him again?  What if he doesn't know that I'm sorry?   This is awful.

So instead of making resolutions, we did two new things in our home.

One, we watched the new season of Dogtown and that cheered me up a great deal because I got to see some of my old friends, The Vicktory Dogs, and of course, I got to see my favorite, John, who as far as I am concerned, can come and live in my home anytime he wants.

Here is John and Georgia, who is turning into quite a spokesdog for all of us Pitties.  Did you know that when my sister, Lydia, went to visit Best Friends, she actually got to meet John? I'm pretty jealous.

I guess it is a toss up as to who is more beautiful, John or Georgia.

And then, the other thing that I have decided is that I am taking my friend Erich's suggestion and instead of making resolutions, I am renewing contracts with my friends --- and with Smurf too.

After serious & cautious consideration... your contract of friendship has been renewed for the New Year 2010!

It was a very hard decision to make... So try not to screw it up!!!

My Wish for You in 2010

May peace break into your home and may thieves come to steal your debts.

May the pockets of your jeans become a magnet for $100 bills.
May love stick to your face like Vaseline and may laughter assault your lips!
May happiness slap you across the face and may your tears be that of joy
May the problems you had forget your home address!
In simple words ............
May 2010 be the best year
 of your life!!!

So that's it for me, Bob.   No Resolutions.  Just a promise to be a better friend to everyone.
