Our Friend Pepe, and some Friday Thoughts
You know, because I have told you, that my Sis, Lydia is probably the best pet sitter in the entire world. My Mom got her a handy dandy little video camera thingamajig for Christmas, but she hasn't figured out how to use it yet. When she does, we will be able to send you video's in our blogging. HA. Won't that be wonderful?
Meanwhile, with her little phone machine, Lydia can take pictures of our clients, and so here is one we wanted to share with you, because, honestly. Have you ever seen anyone cuter than Pepe'? Probably Not.

So I thought that if you were having a bad day today, that seeing Pepe's little face would cheer you up. I would love to kiss him, I think.
Also....sometimes it is good to just have some fun on Friday, so I wanted to share some stuff that we got from our friend Erich Trapp of 2 dogs 2000 miles. Uncle Erich, as I call him, sent me this wonderful list of things to think about for The New Year. I have made appropriate comments:
1. I think part of a best friend's job should be to immediately clear your computer history if you die. (oh, boy, my Mom says this is way too true)......
2. Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong (since I am never wrong, I can't comment on this one).
3. I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger (oh, my, I do remember, my first year...... I wasted so much energy staying awake)
4. There is great need for a sarcasm font ( how true is this...... sometimes people just don't understand me).
5. How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet? (since I have no opposable thumbs, this is NOT one of my problems, but I can tell you, I have watched my Mom and it is NOT a pretty sight)
6. Was learning cursive really necessary? (I do not understand this at all.....Mom says nevermind, cause I wouldn't be able to do it without those darn thumbs anyway)
7. Map Quest really needs to start their directions on #5. I'm pretty sure I know how to get out of my neighborhood. (this one I can relate too...... but only to the end of the road with the mailbox....after that I would be in deep trouble. Remember that time I was lost in the woods for over two hours? Ouch.)
8. Obituaries would be a lot more interesting if they told you how the person died. (They used to do this but for some reason don't anymore.) (again...not something Mom and I read a lot of, but she says it is an accurate thought)
9. I can't remember the last time I wasn't at least kind of tired. (oh, boy. this is truly a problem as I am getting older.... after all, I'll be three in a few days.....DON'T FORGET BOB'S BIRTHDAY COMING UP SOON)
10. Bad decisions make good stories. (this is why I am blogging)
11. You never know when it will strike, but there comes a moment at work when you know that you just aren't going to do anything productive for the rest of the day. (this usually happens in our office around four o'clock every day....... we know it is our dinner time and all of us have NO problem whatsoever reminding Mom that she has been at it since 7am and it's time to quit)
12. Can we all just agree to ignore whatever comes after Blue Ray? I don't want to have to restart my collection...again. (Mom says ---- what the Heck? we barely have a working television and have missed several steps in the industrial revolution)
13. I'm always slightly terrified when I exit out of Word and it asks me if I want to save any changes to my research paper that I swear I did not make any changes to. (at our house, in the woods, working on a computer, EVER, is scary enough without exiting out of anything.)
14. "Do not machine wash or tumble dry" means I will never wear this — EVER. (again....not something I can relate to, however I will say, that my new FLEECE BLANKIE that I got for Christmas is definately wash and lay on)
15. I hate when I just miss a call by the last ring (Hello? Hello? Dang it!), but when I immediately call back, it rings nine times and goes to voicemail. What'd you do after I didn't answer? Drop the phone and run away? (This was Uncles Erich's favorite on the list.... he says he found it especially funny at 3 o'clock in the morning. Whatever in the world would cause you to be awake at three a.m? Except sleeping with my brother, Rusty, when he has a diarrea attack?)
16. I hate leaving my house confident and looking good and then not seeing anyone of importance the entire day. What a waste. (This is just such a problem for me. I like to look my best all the time, but usually, I have no place to go)
17. I keep some people's phone numbers in my phone just so I know not to answer when they call. (Mom says....admit it.... we have all done this. How the heck would I know. There is little chance that I'll be getting a cell phone anytime in the near future)
18. My 4-year old son asked me in the car the other day "Dad what would happen if you ran over a ninja?" How the hell do I respond to that? (Here is what I say....... if you see a Ninja, run it down, just in case. It could have rabies)
19. I think the freezer deserves a light as well. (Mom says the freezer has no light, because no one looks in the freezer in the middle of the night for a snack. What about ice cream, I'm thinking?).
20. I disagree with Kay Jewelers. I would bet on any given Friday or Saturday night more kisses begin with Miller Lites than Kay. (again, I truly can't comment because I kiss everyone whenever the heck I feel like it, and I certainly don't need gems or beer to get me started.....just walkin' in the door is fine)
So there is my fun blogging about nothing really, for Friday. Sometimes we just have to be a little silly.
Love and Licks,
Bob

.............................. DON'T FORGET MY BIRTHDAY.....January 20

Bob - I want to kiss Pepe's face, too. He's adorable. You are a great pitbull blogginator and a very charming young man yourself. Your mom, however, is absolutely hilarious. Your random thoughts for the day really hit home, especially the following profound items: #5,7,8,10.

We loved Erich's comments and you and your Mom's feedback but, honestly, Pepe stole the show!!! What a cute little guy! We could snuggle with him forever!
