Shaun White: My Hero
I am totally in love with Shaun White, the world famous Olympic SnowBoard King of the World. I love him. I want to be his dog.
Then I found out from my friend, Uncle Erich of 2Dogs 2000Miles that Mr. Shaun already has a dog. His name is Rambo and he is a French Bulldog. Go figure. Would you not think that Shaun needed a PitBull? But he picked a Frenchie? I am crushed.
So little Rambo goes EVERYWHERE with Shaun, and I am sitting here in Leesburg, in Virginia, doing not much. Oh Boy.

And please to note that he has his very own, hand knit, Olympic sweater... with - Shaun's name on it too! Oh boy. I haven't had a new sweater in ages.

So, I am forced to admit that Rambo is pretty darn cute. But still. Did Shaun even think about getting a PitBull? I hope he is reading my blogging and maybe I can find out if he would like to meet me. Since Rambo is MUCH smaller than I am, I think perhaps we could be friends. After all..... I would do anything to meet Shaun, my HERO!

Dear Cousin Bob,
I read your excellent reporting today and I thought "I love Shaun White too". My mom REALLY loves him, and she screamed really loudly when he did his bazillion flips and twists and won his gold medal on his VERY FIRST TRY! I thought that was great too, and I thought how cool it would be to be his dog.
But then I read that you said he takes Rambo EVERYWHERE with him. Hmm...that would be problem for me. I'm sure Mr. White is in and around the snow a whole lot, since that is his job as a super snowboarder extra-ordinary. That would mean, as his dog, I would have to be in the snow too. Brrr!! No thanks!
Although -- maybe he has an opening for a dog who sits by the fire wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket and watches his hot cocoa to make sure no one drinks it. If so, I'm going to nominate myself! I could even get a gold medal in that category myself!

MY DEAR COUSIN
You are right, of course, and as always. I thought about all that snow stuff too, and frankly, I don't think I want to be cold that often. Of course, because he is Shaun, he probably has some kind of superior heater thingy that keeps him warm.
I like that idea about guarding the cocoa. I think it would take two of us to do a good job. Yes?
