Day of the Heart
It is Valentine's Day. One of my favorite days because my Mom tells me she loves me over, and over, and over again.
So I do want to pass on the love and wish all of my friends a great day and if you are a two-leg, then I hope there is CHOCOLATE in your future. I got pink Strawberry Yogurt on my kibble this morning.
I also want to tell my very special friends, Hudson and Murphy of 2 Million Dogs that I am thinking about them today. Especially to Murphy who has not been well. I think they are staying with their friend Ginger and I hope she makes them something very special for dinner!
Because you know what a fan we are in our house of Wikipedia, we went out to look at all the things they had to say about Valentine's and it is pretty interesting stuff. If you get a moment, see if you can drag your Mouse Person out of the box of chocolates, and ask him to fly you over to read all about it on Wikipedia I liked the part about the greeting cards.... and look at this one.
Actually, maybe you should NOT look at that one. The more I think about it, the more scary that card gets. It is almost worse than Clown Faces which I don't like either. Yipes.
So Happy Day of the Heart to everyone I know. I hope that all the Valentine Cards you receive are lovely and not covered with scary dogs bearing hearts in their mouth and wearing a blue bow.

Dear Cousin Bob,
It's been a really long time since I wrote to you, I'm so sorry about that!
There are lots of hearts around my house today, and my mom told me it's for Valentine's Day. And then I read your wonderful reporting about it - what a smart PitBull you are!
My mom says it's OK for two people or dogs, especially manly dogs like we are, to say "I love you" to each other. I still feel a little weird about it, but since that's what this day seems to be about, here goes:
