Update on Otto, The Cat
Hi Everyone
Earlier today I posted all about our new friend, Ottoman, The Cat, who has a little bit of a weight problem. Well actually he has a HUGE - VERY LARGE - weight problem, but we are working on that!
I sent my Mouse Person off with an e-mail to the Clementon Vet Hospital where Otto is currently living, as I suspected they could use some support (money and otherwise).
I just got.... via Mouse Person Express - an answer and here it is:
Hi Patti (and Bob too),
Thank you so much for taking the time to inquire about Otto. This "big" guy is so special and he doesn't even know it. The support for him is just amazing. Otto is doing really well, and we all love him so much. Otto has lost almost 4lbs, and he loves his Royal Canin diet. He is now walking short (very short) distances on his own, and is using his litterbox. We have started him on some pain management to make him more comfortable when he is moving.
I am going to set up a Facebook page for Clementon Animal Hospital, Otto will be the focus of that page. I am hoping everyone can spread the word and continue to support him. Weight loss in cats is a long journey, and we have to be very careful, but is so worth it.
We are definately accepting donations on Otto's behalf, and all money will go toward his care. Again I so appreciate your support. Please keep your eye out for our Facebook page and Otto on it.
If you could also send me the link to your blog I would love to keep up with it. I can't thank you enough for the support, and Otto thanks you too!!!
Regards,
Trish Greaney
