Why don't I have a hat?

I have a friend named Busy Bee.

Actually, I have never met her, but I know that if I did, I would be in love with her.   She is, after all, beautiful, and you know I am a sucker for a Pretty Face.

Bee read my pathetic story about the beads, and she wanted to cheer me up.   Instead, she has depressed me even more.

Bee has a Rain Hat.   I do NOT have a Rain Hat.   I have no hats at all.    Why do you suppose that my Mom dislikes me so much that she hasn't gotten me a hat?

Should I be worried about this?

You know I have so many things to worry about, I just don't need another thing if it isn't necessary.  Hat or No Hat?

    Well, I asked Kassi, my Rottie about what she thought about not having a hat and if she would like one. She said no way! She said you can't flop your ears around if you have on a hat and that hats are itchy. So, that's her take on it.
