Spring is Here
I am certain that it is Spring now.
First, we sprung our clocks and watches forward last night before we went to bed, and now ALL of our little bulbs are starting to peak their little faces into the sunshine. We have a couple of huge fields of daffodils and they aren't open yet, but they are all green and sticking out of the ground.
But we also have a LOT of wonderful little tiny purple flowers that Mom said are called Crocus.
Just look at this:

We have a wonderful rock garden near our house, and now is the time of the year when everything starts peaking out and getting ready to surprise us. First the purple crocus flowers, then the daffodils, soon the giant Iris flowers, and then with a rush, everything else comes tumbling down the rock steps and makes for a very beautiful place.
In addition to our little iron bulldog, we also have a flying pig that guards this part of the garden and I helped my Mom re-locate the bulldog this afternoon so that she could stop and smell the flowers.
We think this would have made our Lily Girl very happy.
Mom says that she is almost 1000 percent (and that is a lot) certain that at The RainBow Bridge, there are millions of flowers for the pups and kitties to enjoy with their picnic lunches.
Lily was always very happy when Spring came along and she got to run in the gardens.
It makes me happy to think that she is doing that right now.

Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting heaven and earth
It is called Rainbow Bridge because of its many colours
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills, valleys with lush green grass
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this special place
There is always food and water and warm spring weather
The old and frail are young again
Those who are maimed are made whole again
They play all day with each other
There is only one thing missing
They are not with their special person who loved them on Earth
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up !
The nose twitches !
The ears are up !
The eyes are staring !
And this one suddenly runs from the group !
You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him or her into your arms and embrace
your face is kissed again and again,
and you look once more into the eyes of your trusting pet
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated

Hiya, Bob,
I wanted to respond to your previous comment about what we think of the name "Louise" and my mom's middle name is Louise, so it's a big "yes", it's a great name. To this day, Mom wishes she had been called Louise instead of Vicki, or Victoria.
We think Lily would appreciate your moving her over to smell the pretty crocus', too.
Love,
Blazer & Mom
