Don't forget that the  P.A.W.s for a Cause Annual Dinner and Silent Auction will be held on Thursday, May 12th, 6:30 PM at Hillsborough Vineyard.  The dinner will be provided by Tuscarora Mill Restaurant with appetizers by Pines of Florence, Ashburn. 

And remember too, that the Grand Prize Gift Basket (compliments of Everything & The Dog and friends) will go to the winner of the PAMPERED POOCH PHOTO CONTEST.   

Updated vote counts have been posted on the website, so to find out who is in the lead, simply find your Mouse Person and ask him to fly you away to PHOTO CONTEST RESULTS     

  Voting will continue until next Tuesday, May 10^th at 5:00 PM when the final tally will be made.  Remember that you or a representative must be present at the auction on May 12^th to win.  To find the rules and  (YES YOU COULD STILL ENTER),  simply click  here  and the PAMPERED POOCH CONTEST RULES will pop up. 

In addition to entering the contest, or voting for your favorite pooch, you can still purchase dinner tickets if you haven’t already done so.    Voting will continue at the auction on May 12^th with the top five (5) dogs having their photograph on display.  Be sure to tell all of your friends who will be at the auction to remember to vote for your pooch!  The grand prize winner will be announced and presented with their prize by my sister, Lydia and believe me you really, really, really want to win that Gift Basket!

All of this is for a wonderful, wonderful cause, and all proceeds go directly to support Alpha House men's and women's transitional homes.    


I really did want to enter my own picture into the contest, but Mom said we couldn't win and it wouldn't be fair, but Mom did say that if I saved my pennies, I could vote for my favorite dog out of all the dogs who are entered in the contest.    So I am not going to tell you who my favorite is but I will give you a little hint.    His name starts with the letter M and he has a smushy face.     

So please, find your Mouse and your CheckBook and make your vote and your donation, and then find something COUNTRY CASUAL to wear to the dinner and bring along your appetite too!
