Scooby Auction Starts Today
Anyway, when you find him ask him to please fly you away to WELCOME to the Auction for Scooby Medina This will get you started, and then, get ready for the fun to begin.
This is what the Scooby team in North American sent to me when they asked me to spread the word about this event:
Over 150 incredible, unique, custom and otherwise awesome items will be featured in this auction hosted by Auctions ala Carte starting Monday, October 3 – please visit Auction to view and bid on these fantastic goodies.
100% of the proceeds will be used to support Scooby Medina who is facing perhaps its greatest challenge ever. The situation at Scooby is absolutely desperate. The shelter is completely full with 500 dogs, and our adoptions have decreased significantly due to the global economic crisis. We urgently need your help to continue to take care of the animals until we can find them homes as well as all those galgos that will be appearing at our door once the used hunting season begins. We are hoping to raise enough money from the auction so that building can begin on a puppy house.
With so many items, there's something for everyone!
A very special thank you to ALL of our donors and supporters for making this possible! Your generosity was overwhelming and very, very appreciated.
This auction begins 12 AM PST on Monday, October 3rd and ends at 11:00 PM PST on Monday, October 10th.
Thank you for your interest, participation and support!
The Scooby Team
Since the Auction is only running for one week, it is important that you check in every day and make sure that the items that you wish to acquire are still "in your basket"....... you know how sneaky your friends can be if they find out you are bidding on something that they might be wanting. HA.
Personally, I am hoping for a new collar. My last (and most favorite) collar, literally, rotted and fell off. Well that might be a bit of an "tall tail", but I'm sure you get the hint?
On the very first page of the Auction Listing, I found these:
I am certain that these will look very nice on me ---- and because there is a pair of them, when one gets shabby, then I will be able to replace it. So I am bidding on this, and please be kind and don't bid me "up" too terribly high. I am, after all, on a rather tight budget.
PLEASE don't think for even a moment that the items in the auction are "run of the mill"..... check this out:
Your party of (2) will enjoy a hands-on 150-minute (2+ hours) experience on Dennis Conner's famous America's Cup yacht "Stars & Stripes". Each of up to (20) total participants will get to play a role as crew while you race this 80-foot yacht around the sheltered waters of San Diego Bay. This is not a guided sight-seeing tour but an interactive sailing thrill. On busy days you'll get to race against another America's Cup yacht giving you the 'ultimate' sailing experience. A sail on "Stars & Stripes" is itself a once-in-a-lifetime treat. Although subject to availability, reservations will make every effort to schedule you for a date when both yachts will race.
Is that not an amazing prize? Can you imagine how excited someone would be on Christmas Morning if they opened up a box and this popped out?
So PLEASE...... go to the auction site right now......... you will be so glad that you did ALL of your Christmas shopping early, PLUS you are helping a cause that is so very, very needy.
Love and Licks,
Bob
---- please don't bid against me on my collar
------------ spend lots of money for a GOOD cause
--------------------- but not on my collar.

Hi Bob,
I talked my mom into checking out the auction and we found a whole bunch of stuff that we are going to bid on. Thanks for letting us know about it. Love the collar you are bidding on but because we are friends I will bid on a different one! Hey,I read your guest blog on Finding Fuzzybutt Four. You did a great job! I also wanted to tell you that I have a new sister. We adopted her from the local shelter and she's a pit bull. She's okay but gets on my nerves sometimes, not because she's a pit bull but because she's a girl and young which equals annoying!
Your friend,
Mickey the hound dog
