Ten Days to Go
So in ten more days, which would be Monday, the 31st of October, 2011, it will be HALLOWEEN.
I know that my Shar-Pei friends, Saffron and Nigel, have been waiting all year for this day, as they love to dress up in costumes and I'm sure they will go trick or treating with their Mom and Dad.
I'm doubly sure that they will enter the Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest at Petco on Saturday, the 28th (at 2pm) and because they are so darn cute and so different (how many Shar Pei's live in your neighborhood?), they will probably tie for the win. If they do, I promise to Blog pictures for everyone to see.

Dressing up in silly costumes is just not me. After all, I am a PitBull Reporter Extra Ordinary.
Mom did say she saw a collar with skulls and bones on it, so maybe I could do that. That wouldn't make me look silly (I don't think)...... or would it? Decisions, decisions.
If you are dressing up in a Halloween Costume, send me your picture, and we'll have our own little contest except that everyone will win. That's the kind of contest that I like to have.
If you really want to get into the mood, and you live in our town, Leesburg, Virginia, you can go an watch the Halloween Parade. Here is what my Mouse Person helped me to find out about the parade:
The annual Leesburg Kiwanis Halloween Parade will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011. The parade kicks off at 6:00pm from Ida Lee Park and will travel south on King Street to the Virginia Village Shopping Center at Fairfax Street.
Road closures in downtown Leesburg will be in effect at 5:30pm.
For more details about the parade or to register as a participant, please visit www.leesburgkiwanis.org or email Suzanne Wright at slwright_va@comcast.net.
I wouldn't mind going to watch a parade. That could be fun. Maybe Mom will buy me the collar with the skulls on it, and I could go to the parade. Now that sounds like a plan.
If you plan to be in the parade or watch it, or enter the Halloween Costume Contest then you better have your Two Leg get busy and make all the arrangements, cause you only have a week to go (plus a few days).
And remember I told you that October 22nd, which is tomorrow, is a very special day?
Yep. It still is.
And tomorrow I am going to Blog all about it.
If you want to try and figure it out, you could see if your Mouse Person can stay awake long enough to help you find the answer. My hint is to start with Google and go from there.
Love and Licks,
Bob
..... no costume for me, thanks.
