Champ
Sad news today about our friend Champ.
Champ died peacefully in his home at 3a.m. on October 24, 2011. He was 14 years old.
My Mom has been taking care of Champ for many years when his Mom and Dad did some traveling. Champ lived with his brothers and sisters, who were mostly Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. But Champ was the Boss of the house!
Mom says she has a special place in her heart for old Cocker Spaniels...... and Champ was well into his golden years when they first met.
So Champ is off to The Rainbow Bridge to stay with our Princess Daisy. Champ loved being on the River and watching the boats, so I'm sure that Daisy will find a great job for him at the BoatDock at The Bridge.
Daisy is hard at work writing us a book all about The RainBow Bridge and what we can all expect when we arrive there. Unfortunately, as she did when she lived here with us, Princess Daisy is rather slow in completing her projects. She does tend to get distracted when a new shipment of pink toys arrives at the RainBow Play House.
