Not a Fan
I told you a few days ago how my Sister and Mr. Pat had some company and they carved out faces on pumpkins to celebrate Halloween. I am NOT a fan. One of those Pumpkin faces is so scary that I do not even want to go outside in case it is looking at me. I think that the eyes on the pumpkin faces move around and watch you whereever you are going. Yipes.
Here are the pumpkins all lined up and in the daytime they don't look quite so bad..... it's the one that is second from the left (or third from the right if you want to start on that side).... that is the SCARY one. Mr. Pat carved it.
Lydia knows I will be worried about these darn pumpkins until they rot and fall apart, and she was nice and made me a special one that DOES NOT look scary. See:
Mom says this looks like Mr. Bill, but I'm not sure who that is.......... anyway, day time pumpkins make me feel creepy and uncomfortable, but then I saw them after dark.
THIS IS HORRIBLE.
Why is pumpkin carving supposed to be fun? Why is Halloween supposed to be fun? Who thinks that ghosts and witches and graveyards and skeletons are fun? I can't eat candy and most people don't hand out dog biscuits for Trick or Treating so I don't do that part of Halloween. I don't want to dress up in a crazy costume.
I have decided I will just stay in my bed tomorrow, which is the Day of Halloween. Not coming out. What if I happen to wake up and that pumpkin has moved from Lydia's front porch onto my front porch? Oh my. This is just not good.
