Bob's Pit Bull Pals: Meet Opie
Opie Taylor is one very special dog.
My sister and her husband, Mr. Pat, and sometimes my Mom, all have the honor of coming to Opie's home once a week to visit with him and give him some time outside to take care of whatever might be important on that particular Wednesday. Sometimes, the most important thing for Opie is to stop and smell the air, sniff around and then wander back inside to his bed.
When I am old, I hope I will be well respected like this.
Everyone loves Opie.
Recently Opie lost his dear companion of many, many years. Her name was Aspen. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo graph of Ms. Aspen, but perhaps her Mom and Dad, who are Opie's Mom and Dad too, will send us one. Aspen decided to take a little trip off to The Rainbow Bridge to visit with Princess Daisy and now Opie is alone (except for his kitties).
I am hoping that this special introduction to all of our Pit Bull Pals Club will cheer up Opie just a bit. Perhaps everyone can send him a comment with a big WELCOME! Opie is our oldest member and has many, many, many memories and years of experience so perhaps some day he will share a few with us.
Meanwhile...... Welcome, my friend. We are honored to know you.

Just like my Beijing --- it's always good to have a cat around. You never know when you might need one!

Hey..... now both of the Bella's have sent Happy Greetings to our new friend, Opie.
