The Tail of Two Corgis
Yesterday I told you all about the new book from our friend William Gilliam, in Hawaii. It is called The Canine Portrait Project and my gorgeous portrait is one of the 150 in the book! Yippers. I am so excited I could just pee.
But here is more exciting news ---- from our Corgi Friends, Merlin and Razz.
As you know, because I told you about them, my Mom is the Official Dog Walker for Merlin and Razz, who are two pretty amazing Cardigan Welsh Corgis (the kind with "the tail"). So my Mom has known about the project that Merlin and Razz are working on, together with their parents, Mr. Bruce and Ms. Claudia.
She has been getting a sneak peek at the amazing illustrations and on Friday, we got our very own little post card announcing that The Tail of Two Corgis would be available very, very soon.
We knew that you would want to be sure to order an copy in advance if you knew how to contact Merlin and Razz, and so even though they are still working on all the little buttons on their web-site, you can grab your Mouse Person (if you can find him) and ask him to fly you over to Merrazz When you get there, you can see pictures from the book and pictures of Razz and Merlin.
Even though their book isn't quite "hot off the press" quite yet, it is so darn close, that this might make a great gift idea for the dog lovers on your Christmas Lists (kids and biggies too).......... I am certain that Mr. Bruce could arrange to send you a nice little card with a gift tag attached so you could slip that into someone's Christmas Stocking......... it would give your special someone something special to look forward to first thing in 2012.
And speaking of Razz, and Christmas........ we found this picture of him under his first Christmas Tree....... I am thinking that this is his second Christmas coming up, cause Mom says he is still "a baby" (even though Mr. Bruce says he is a teen-ager)........ HA.
