The Days of December
I can't believe that when we woke up this morning, Mom said -- "Almost here, Bob-Boo" At first I wasn't sure what she was talking about since I hadn't had my Breakfast Kibble yet, but then I realized that it is the FIRST day of the LAST month of the year and that means it is December and soon it will be Christmas Time and then it will be "another year over and a new one just begun" (Mom says you have to guess which song that is from and who sang it.............HA)
So I thought it would be a good way to start off the 12th Month, by going to visit our friends at Brownie Locks so we can find out what is happening in --------

My Uncle Erich of Two Million Dogs told me about Brownie Locks and now I am in love with her. You should make sure that this is the only place you have your Mouse Person take you to when you are needing information about all the crazy (and not crazy) days of any particular month...... and a bunch of other helpful stuff too. I will make sure that I send her a copy of my blogging so that she will know how much I appreciate her.
So Anyway.
It is now December in the year of 2011 and there is so much going on in December that I will let you fly over to Ms. Brownie and find out stuff for yourself (because you need an adventure), but here are some of my favorites:
December 1 - that would be today --- is Rosa Parks Day. My Mom and I just finished reading the book called "The Help" and they talked about Miss Rosa Parks in that book and Mom explained all about her and what she did for Civil Rights. I know that if I had been around then, I would have helped Miss Parks and her friends, because I am very concerned about things like this.
Anyway..... so that is the serious part (well one of them)..... how about: National Mutt Day

December 2nd and I must say, this Mutt looks like he has a lot of PitBull in him..... HA!
Did you know that December 9th
is Weary Willy Day?
I did not even know who Weary Willy was and now thanks to Brownie Locks, I do and it is very, very, very interesting material to know about and I really think you need to find your Mouse Person and fly over and learn all about Weary Willy. Mom says I look a lot like this when my sister, Scarlett, steals one of my chewie sticks and hides it.
Moving along.
DECEMBER 15TH IS CAT HERDERS DAY. OK. Now I ask you? What is a cat herder? I am going to have to do some research on my own about this one. And I am not telling Beijing Kitty about it until I figure out what exactly is involved in herding a cat.
December 21 is HUMBUG day, and Mom says we are going to figure out exactly what a Humbug looks like this year. (I keep thinking it looks a lot like Mom, but I didn't tell her that)...... and of course, December 23rd is
FESTIVUS!!!!!!!!
If you haven't been a fan of the Seinfeld show then you probably don't know about Festivus, but if you are wanting to get the SPIRIT of the season back, you can put up a Festivus Pole and read all about this holiday over at Wikipedia (and while you are at it, why don't you make a small donation to Wikipedia ----- it's easy and it will make you feel much better about how often you fly around over there).
Festivus Pole------ OR?

House of Bazillion Lights ------ you pick.
Some of the best days in December are after the 25th -----
National Whiner's Day December 26
Bacon Day December 30
Falling Needles Family Fest Day December 30
Make up Your Mind Day December 31 and
Universal Hour of Peace Day DECEMBER 31.
And So! I guess you know what my Mouse Person and I are going to be doing a LOT this month - December of 2011. We are going to be spending a lot of time at Miss Brownie Locks and we will try to remember to tell you one fact every single day in the month.
Happy December to EveryOne -------------------
Oh and by the way........ December 4th? That is the very best day of ALL the days in December because it is the Birthday of my Sister, Lydia (my two legged sister of course). She is the most beautiful person I know and I love her very much.
