Bob's Christmas List

Mom said that if I was a very good PitBull she would help me write a letter to Santa, and let me tell you, I have been very, very good.   Beijing Kitty told me that if I wasn't a good dog, not only would I get nothing but rocks in my stocking, but that she would send her Flying Monkeys after me.   Yipes.

Anyway..... this is what Mom says NOT to send to Santa:

HA! HA! HO! HO! HO!...........   it is very, very important to start off each day with a laugh around this time of year.    Everyone is far too busy, and we must not forget that a big smile will go a long way   (Mom says it works particularly well in the gift store when the line is a mile long and every one is grumpy)    Anyway, back to my letter.

I like to have things that are really, really different.     When I find something special I like to share with my friends and family, because I figure if I like something, then other dogs and two legs will like them too.

So this is what I would like Santa to bring me in his sled.

1.   Some sort of radar detector that will alert me to the presence of the large Black Bear living in our woods and/or Flying Monkeys.

2.   A GPS system so that if I ever get lost, I will be able to get back home.   I worry a lot about being lost.     If you think well that is silly, no one has a GPS for dogs, you would be wrong, because if you can locate your Mouse Person (unless he has GPS then you can find him easily).... ask him to fly you to  Tagg, The Pet Tracker

There you will find out all about how this neat little item works and if you live in a rural area as we do, I am sure it would be very handy.    But even more handy if you are in a city and perhaps your poor dog could get lost easily.

    Truly, this is pretty amazing.

3.   NEXT ITEM, PLEASE!   A 12-month Supply of Wagatha's

These are my all time favorite dog biscuits in the entire world and Mr. Norm and his friends (who live in Vermont) are very, very careful about what goes into our biscuits so we know we are snacking healthy.

When you go flying off to Wagatha's in CyberSpace you will find a LOT of wonderful information and all sorts of things to add to your list.    I think that I will be generous in our family this year, so I am asking Santa to send me a 3-lb supply of biscuits every month starting NOW.    That way there will be enough for all of us (except Beijing Kitty who will have to figure out how to get her own treats).   Just look at what the Holiday Package looks like:

4.  Please don't laugh, but I want a SNOOD.

I got a bad ear infection this year and I was shaking my head a lot and it made my ears hurt even worse than they already did.    And if my Mom took her hands and put them on my ears and pressed them to my head, it made them warmer and then they felt better.   And besides it just made me feel secure when she was doing that, but your Mom can't follow you around all of the time with her hands on your head.

And then, Ms. Phoebe who makes my favorite toy, My Squeaky Ball  sent me a picture of one of the dogs that she takes care of when she is working for our company, Everything and The Dog

This is Bear (who is by the way a The Rhodesian Ridgeback)
Lest you thing that Bear is not a Manly Man (just because he has a snood and loves it).... here is a little bit about his breed.    The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a dog breed developed in Southern Africa, where it was used to hunt lions. This is most likely why this dog is known for its bravery. Its European forebears can be traced to the early pioneers of the Cape Colony of southern Africa, who crossed their dogs with the semi-domesticated, ridged hunting dogs of the Khoikhoi.

So maybe Bear does look a little wierd in his SNOOD, but it helped his ears to get well and now he loves to wear it.     So I want to have one too.

MOPE (my Mouse Person) flew me around and we found some places where you can order attractive snoods ----     After much searching around, we picked Linden Line Designs  because they have a lot of information about wearing a Snood for healthy healing purposes  (not just because you have long floppy ears)........  we also liked this picture of their customer, named Jake (who lives in Colorado)

I realize that Jake doesn't look quite as happy as Bear did, but then, I'm betting that Jake pretty much always looks depressed.  HA.
So check out

5.    Last item..... cause Mom said it wasn't good to ask for too much all at once.

I really want World Peace.             That's not too much to ask for, is it?

You can fly over to our friends at Cafe Press  and find ALL sorts of wonderful bumper stickers to remind people that you think World Peace is what we all need now.

If we all get a Bumper Sticker, and drive around with them, maybe some people will start to do some thinking.    You just never know.

So that is my Christmas List for 2011.       Send me your list so I can see if you are wanting something that I might need to have.   HA.

Love and Licks,

Bob
Pit Bull Reporter and VERY good boy
