Turtle Doves?

So by my counting, which might be a day off one way or another, yesterday was the First Day of Christmas and I was waiting all day for my Partridge in a Pear Tree, but it never showed up.
So today, I am expecting my Turtle Doves (two of them, actually), and I am hoping that I won't be disappointed again.
Actually, I had a bit of a nightmare last night, because I was dreaming about the Turtle Doves showing up and I am now thinking that they may be a lot like the Flying Monkeys and that I really don't want to see them after all.
What if they look like this?
This would be horribly creepy and if that is the case, then I am going to pass on the whole 12 Days of Christmas stuff and stick with Santa Claus and the elves.Mom said that she is relatively sure that Turtle Doves DO NOT look like this and that she knows they do not have shells.
Still. One never knows.
Love and Licks,
Bob
--------- should I be afraid?

Oh Bob, I'm with you on this one! Your mom may be right about the turtle doves but I'd rather not chance it. Too creepy for me! Don't be too disappointed by the partridge not showing up, we have a pear tree in the front yard and I watched it all day..... no partridge here either. Santa is the way to go!

Thanks, Mickey.
I thought I might give the French Hens a chance today, but after that, I think it will be the North Pole for me.
